I think you can sometimes forget how much you already pay for SkySports, I really believe that PPV should be reserved for special nights of boxing.

Dont get me wrong this is a very good card, as I think Mitchell's fight and Selby's fight could be belters but I am not convinced it should be on top of what Sky already charge.

I guess the answer will come when they release the price of it.

See I wonder who the PPV's are marketed towards? You generally get the impression PPV's are aimed more towards the mainstream. Once a guy like Tyson reaches his kind of fame levels, the average joe on the street would pay to watch but they couldn't name you 1 other champion from 1 other division.

In the case of Kell Brook vs Frankie Gavin, the mainstream football fans types probably haven't heard of either of them.

As for the "die hard" fans as you put it, you think that wouldn't be a big enough pool to make PPV worthwhile, and, they are the fans most insulted by putting this garbage on PPV on in the first place.

Seems to me like there are no winners in any demographic and it's just plain old bad business all round.
