And talk about timing, the referee has stepped in and momentarily stopped the fight. He's looking at the cut above Lewis's eye and is now leading him toward the ringside physician. 8:4
1:42 * It looks like the ringside physician is asking Santore to stop the fight so he can examine Ted Kid Lewis's cut. The doctor is really taking a close look at it and Lewis can not like the expression on his face.* And on the advice of the doctor Santore is stopping the fight! Lewis's cuts are just too severe and Ismael Laguna is the winner by TKO! 8:4
