Who the fu** does Steve Bunce think he is?

After the Harrison fight he said about educating people watching at home.

He should start by getting himself educated, he talks bollocks.

Personally I didn't have a problem with the stoppage, Bonin was never going to beat Audley and looked bloody knackered.

Bunce is still a tit though. He absolutely refuses to see anything negative in the way "world prospect" Harrison performs even though nearly everyone else can see the reality of the situation.

Seems Woodhall has had enough of the wind bag too.
Notice how Bunce ranted on about Audley "reducing Skelton to a stumbling ruin.." ( or something like that ) and Woodhall put his arm around his neck - you could see him thinking "Would you just shut the f*** up for once?!"

Is Bunce on the Audley pay role? Sounded like he was...

BTW did anyone turn the sound off and listen to Five Live instead? Rawlings guests were Richard Williams and a (surprise surprise) thoroughly unimpressed Colin Hart who just ripped Audley to shit rags afterwards. I really believe Hart hates Audley with passion.

I agree. He was a condescending bastard. Does he think anyone watching boxing on the BBC is a fornicating moron? It's time he realised that there are people out there who know a darn sight more about boxing than he does.

Interesting they aid they had been on the forums reading what the fans are saying!

at that time you are right, only people watching are more than just the casual fan. But i dont have a big problem with it. I don't agree with his views on the stoppage at all. Despite Keane's experiences, he should be consistent with other referees.

Disappointing when Inverdale asked him to comment on Barrera - Naz (to build up Barrera for casual viewers) and Bunce never gave one word of credit to Marco for that win, instead going into a fanboy-esque rant of sad excuses for Naz's loss.

I thought everything Bunce said about Naz v Barrera was spot on.

Even though it was probably all true, he sounded more like a fan than a commentator to me.

I agree guys as I've said before.

I might check the BBC web-site to see if I can contact Mr Bunce to see if he will give us all some lessons on Boxing, anyone else interested?

Some kind of open workshop I thought.

He can't be as bad as Gary Richardson.

Audley; "I'd like to thank my team."
Gary; "Shut the fornicate up, nobody wants to hear this. Now......"
Audley; "This is my last fight on the BBC, can I just say....."
Gary; "Shut up Audley, I want to ask another question."

How many fornicating "Thank You's" did he say at the end of the fight... Sheesh!

Where now for Audley... ITV, SKY, FIVE?

Have to disagree mate. I've just looked back at the scorecards for that fight and (although I'm just working from memory) I can't believe the judges had it that close.

I agree what he was on about regarding Naz and his boxing life but seem to remember Barrera totally dominated the contest. Wasn't even close.

I go along with that Ian.
I watched the vid yesterday and thought 4 rounds you sure?
I do agree what he said about Naz's mental state though. However I still think MAB just had his number.

Okay it wasn't as close as Bunce suggested but Naz certainly wasn't beaten to a pulp either.

I'm talking more about the mental state Naz took into that contest and how much more of a fight it would have been a few years earlier.

True. I was so disappointed that night. I bet he threw the least amount of punches ever in a 12-rounder.

The biggest shock to me on the night was how much bigger Barrera was. It was he who looked like a weight division above. Not just height it was shoulders, arms, legs, back the lot.
