My FB has gone into meltdown since I said I think Selby walks it. I hope it doesn't happen! I'll be a wanted man.

I dont really think its up for discussion is it?

Selby isn't gods gift but he has enough to cut it at the world level, something i just don't see in Warrington, who IMO is at his peak level now.

Selby would definitely beat Warrington, wouldn't even be close.

Try telling that to York's Leeds supporting community. It went down like a popped beach ball.

It would be very one sided. Even the Leeds die hards should be able to appreciate that, surely?

They seem mostly footie fans though, how many have actually seen Selby fight?

Interesting this. I happened on a chance conversation with Warrington just after the Mouneimne bout (before he was 'known' in Leeds) and he told me then he was certain he could beat an 'over-rated' Selby. I laughed, but he was deadly serious. I genuinely think he believes he can beat Selby, although I need to be convinced that he could handle Selby's power.

They don't. They haven't got a clue who Selby is. They are riding the hype train.

It's not just Selby's power Warrington needs to handle. Lee is levels above him in the skill department too

Although I think Selby has a good chance of becoming world champion he doesn't have world class power for all his talk of dropping heavyweights etc.

It would be more a case of could Warrington hold him off due to his own lack of power and I doubt he could.

I thought his talk of sparring heavyweights was him saying he can take punches off these guys, rather than he blasts Heavies out

They are at completely different stages of their career and Warringon has shown nothing yet that suggests he could cope with Selby in the near future. Who knows what the future holds but going by the evidence available at the minute, Selby holds the advantage in everything bar support

Warrington is made for Selby

Selby would beat Warrington handily IMO. It would probably be a comfortable UD for Selby with Warrington making most of the rounds competitive and Selbys better work winning him the points. Selby is a hit and a miss at times for me.

One's a world class fighter, the other is working his way towards world class. A win for Selby no matter what Warrington brings.

Not being unkind but really this would be fairly straightforward for selby
