And yes i know it doesnt need it blah blah blah but with it being the "big one" you would think there would be all kinds of promos for it.

Was there truth behind what canelo said that the fight was rushed together cuz floyd didn't wanna battle over the date with canelo had he chosen a different opponent than Manny.

I have never see anything like it you'd think their is no fight 12 day's away or is it 13 day's.........

Two weeks away yet not even a commercial for the fight.

Shiit i remember when DLH v Trinidad was announced "fight of the millinium" they showed a fuucking commercial every 10Mins, Billboards on the streets etc

i mean there is a small commerial, but overall it is super bad marjketing, i mean, there is nothing, totaly boring......no tv specials, no nothing...no big interviews, totaly boring and that is supposed to be the biggest fight ever in boxing lololololol......eff top rank and haymon, realy bad business, with more hype and tv coverage this fight could realy end up 4 mill or more, but like they are handling this fight, i mean nobody talks about it, nowhere the action when tyson against holyfield or lewis was in talks, so many peopel were talking about it, but now for this fight, nothing.

The marketing for this fight is puzzling for sure but I think that stems from the fact that this cross promotion has never been done before and they are feeling their way through the dark with it. I know, it's officially NOT the first time they've combined in a super fight before because of Lewis/Tyson but that was back in the caveman days compared to where we are now. They didn't have 24/7 buildups back then or the internet, Twitter or etc. This is a new animal all together.

The good thing though is that this fight doesn't need a minute of advertising, it's going to break every record in every category easily even if they don't say a word for 12 days about the fight. Vegas Odds Makers are estimating $100m will be bet on this fight. That's a record. People know about this one, don't worry about that.

the build up has been going on for 5 years now, why invest millions of dollars and hours of time when either way we will all be watching... check youtube you will find all sorts of build up. there are commercials, there are interviews, there are a bunch of fan made (free) promo videos, they dont need to sell this fight, its been sold since they said the fight was happening. hopefully since they were not bothered so much by promotion, they will show up in top shape and we will see a great boxing match, this clash of styles really interests me.regardless of the outcome im glad as a fan to see these 2 go at it.

There will be a plethora of ALL ACCESS shows on Showtime and I'm sure HBO will continue with their lying on their own 24/7 series but will not be allowed to use anything new from Mayweather, just old sh*t that they can use to spin the lies and hypocrisy in their own way; the same way they did with their telecast (tell-a-LIE-cast) of AT LAST!!

I really won't be surprised if this fight does poor numbers in the UK - relatively speaking.

Looks like they think the fight has sell itself and instead of spending money on a tour or tv promo they try to maximize the profit.. Or they are simply missing the boat
