How would his shoulder roll fair against a Tyson in his prime for example, or even an Imposing Klitchko with his 80 inch reach?
Fighters with lesser skills were able to subdue Tyson, I think Floyd's style would be even more effective against those slow, lower skilled and lumbering bums we have in the HW division but as stated "he doesn't only use the shoulder roll".
It is a big misconception to think that Mayweather only uses the shoulder roll, he changes his defense all the time during fights but most people only focus on the shoulder roll.
I didn't see anything disrespectful about what Floyd stated in regards to Ali, he stated the facts; Ali lost to Spinks who only had 7 fights at the time (Scott Le Doux took Leon to a life and death fight before Spinks' fight with Muhammad), Ali for lack of a better way of fighting his opponent in Foreman simply laid on the ropes and allowed himself to take punishment until Foreman punched himself out (not a good strategy in light of how Muhammad turned out).
Frazier wasn't exactly highly skilled and he took Ali life and death in 3 fights, so I'm still trying to figure out what it is that you guys think is so disrespectful about what he stated in regards to Muhammad's career.
Ali called himself the Greatest after defeating Liston, many people hated Ali because he was black and braggadocious, many paid to see him lose vs Frazier in their 1st fight, so Floyd patterned himself after this style and made you all hate him (guess what?)
It worked!! The suckers have bought into Mayweather's grandstanding, buffoonery and shenanigans and it worked.
Looks like he got you suckers.
