i hope that i am wrong and eversthing turns out to be good.
but judging from now, it seems to me like the total ripp off, the total disrespect to boxing fans.
the price 100 dollar for ppv
the undercard
cruz against ???? we dont even know the name of the opponent
lomachenko against gablier, who the f... is gabalier...?? you could have made lomachenko-russell II or lomachenko-gradovich, very exciting match ups, but than this shi&/(t
tabiti against a nobody wtf
the choice of the reffery break break break break break break break break is gone be the main sound of the fight
only 1000 tickets for public
i am a boxing and i hope i am wrong, like i said, but it looks so far as utter shi%&/%/t....i mean, this could end up a disaster....if 3 million people pay 100 dollar and this end up a bullshit descision or bayless not letting them fight for real, than this could end up in a riot against boxing. again, i hope i am wrong!

The main reason why the undercard doesn't carry a multitude of big names is because they'd have to split the money up too many different ways and would not be able to pay out the money they need to take care of Floyd and Manny's huge paychecks.

I would pay $100 if the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight was the only fight on the PPV. The undercard fights are disappointing though and look to be 2 mismatches (depending on who they pit Cruz against, but with such a short time frame to announce a opponent I'm certain it won't be anyone that good). As far as hyping this fight, I think it's being hyped relatively well, it doesn't really need the hype that a lot of other PPV fights do because there's no reason to hype up fighters like they had to do with Algieri and Guerrero to try and convince people that one of the fighters deserves to be in the ring with one of the best fighters in the world.
But unfortunately for the Pacquiao fans, the main event is going to be very anti-climatic. Floyd is going to put on a master class and the fight won't end up being that competitive after the 3rd or 4th round. There will be a lot of tension in the ring the entire fight, but there won't be a lot of moments where Floyd isn't in charge. Then we will hear all the built in excuses that the Pacquiao fans have been making since this fight has been announced.

i mean as long as bayless doesnt shi$%t the fans in favouring floyd i have no problem in floyd winning the fight. i mean sure would i have a small problem, cause i simply do not like floyds childish atititude, showing of his cars every moment, is he 20 years old or a grown man, wtf is he doing? does he realy think he is the only one with nice cars

and who cares anyway, they are far happier people doin 2000 dollar a month, than some millioneres killing themselves cause deppression can take over anybody. i just want a good fight and that bayless let them do a good fight, that all.

I concur that this is about the worst value a boxing fan could ever get out of a ppv. An undercard of boring, irrelevant mismatches; and a main event that is almost certain to be less entertaining in practice than it is in theory. All for the low, low price of... the most expensive ppv ever.
I know there isn't much money to go around after paying the main event fighters, but I think they should at least beef-up the entertainment value with some sort of low-cost, evenly matched, all-action fight between some lightweight mid-tier fighters. Something like Miguel Berchelt vs Juan Antonio Rodriguez, which would probably cost them $70,000, which is a miniscule nothing in relation to the $200 milllion main event. There's also probably a lot of fighters out there who would fight for a fraction of a fair payday just to get the exposure of fighting for 2 million viewers.

the fact is floyd and manny made enough, they are both super rich
but that shows again the floyd does not give a damn about fans, he only knows me me me. if he would just a bit appreciat fans, than he would say, take 10-20 million of my 180 million and lets put garry russell infront of lomachenko and lets put a tough russian boxer against tabiti and lets try to bring in rigo or mares infront of cruz. i mean, wtf. he is super rich anyway. 10 million sounds a lot, both he likes worth half a billion after the fight, 10 more or less makes 0 difference at all to his lifestyle. at least haymon or bob shouldve said something. but crap undercard and a main event which will surely end up a boring ud win for floyd is not worth 100 dollar.
thanks to oscar, he truly likes fans and wanna give them something to enjoy, the combination of matthysse-diaz, canelo-mayweather was just a super idea and a good advertising for boxing. but this event stands exactly for what stands for "f...... everybody, i want as much as possible", like he didnt made enough from his boring fights. i mean mike made similar cash, but at least he got in the ring to bring entertainmant, not like borweather.

Boxing fans and the people drumming up how "bad" the way this fight is being handled are short sighted and a bunch of rubes. Ali fought Foreman in one of the most iconic boxing matches of all time....in a soccer stadium in dictator controlled Zaire. Why? Because Don King was able to convince some murderous tyrant to fork over the money for a megafight and connected music festival that probably 3 non participants/journalists from the United States were at.
I was never going to buy the PPV to start with (was always going to a bar or movie theater) and going to Vegas and plunking down even several hundred dollars for a ticket in that unreasonable scenario was never on my mind as a serious option. Who cares? You're getting Mayweather/Pacquiao finally. Don't be a carelord. It is boxing.

That is the most likely scenario and what sucks about it if the fight plays out like most of us here believe, the casuals which will include most of the ppl will be left scratching there heads thinking wtf did i just watch.
And sadly enough it will put boxing in an even deeper slump for a while atleast.
The so called biggest fight of all time will be a huge let down. Everyone here knows that but the masses dont. They think this will be a war a fight for the ages.
So whats gonna happen when they realize its not.
They will turn against boxing even more so than the media already has

not only casual but also real boxing fans will scratch their head if it ends up a mayweather guerrero type of fight.
i mean, the problem is not that floyd dominates manny, if he does, it is okay, he simply is than superior, no problem with that, but if he is superior to him and outclasses him and than basicly runs the whole fight to a boring UD, without even trying once to KO or TKO manny or pushing the action for some moments to bring a bit of excitemant to the crowd, than it will be terrible to watch.

I know we are all being mugged slightly, but I for one can't wait to board the plane Monday. Roll on May 2nd, unless we have a rematch I doubt the intrigue in a fight will get to this level for quite a few years!

i guess the undercard will not be the subject
of any discussion after the fight and regarding
tickets: what did you expect? charity?
