Fury, Povetkin rematch, then ending with Wilder. Once these 3 fights are won, retirement.

when povetkin beats perez in may he will be mandatory for wilder. interesting to see what wilder does then.

wilder has a defence vs taxi driver on june 20th. after that he can fight povetkin or weight and unify with wlad (after fury)

after fury and povetkin/wilder fight, i see wlad fight glazkov (ibf mando) in Kiev, as both from ukraine

I find it intriguing that you wish to see Wladimir grant Alexander Povetkin a rematch. Why is that, because I don’t think that Klitschko lost a single round during that fight? After all, the Russian hit the deck four times during their contest. :??
...I'd be against a rematch, althought there are a lot of fans who think it looked more like a wrestling match plus Povetkin has been allegedly getting so much better under a new coach...

Fury and Wilder are by far and away the most interesting opponents.

Perez, who I though had a really close fight with Jennings is third.

A handful of prospects need to step it up and beat each other or someone on that Ring Magazine List: Washington, Teper, Joshua, Parker and Martin. Martin fights Dallas? This is what is WRONG with boxing.

Fury in September will be next.

I think in a year calendar time, you'll see Fury then Glazkov. After that, I think he tries to unify with Wilder in the next calendar year, then retires with a fight in Germany. So I figure he probably has 4 fights left.

Fury
Glaskov
Wilder (providing Povetkin doesn't jump in there, but I don't see that happening)
Briggs

You never asked us who we want to see or who he should fight,
you asked who will be his opponents in the next 12 month

Lillywhite14 didn't say he wanted to see it, he simply reckoned a povetkin rematch might happen and he probably isn't wrong, If Povetkin keeps putting wins together, he'll be top of the rankings.

u can remove briggs

ur forgetting povetkin has his eliminator in may
wilder has his voluntary in june.

then they will need purse bids unless a unification fight which can over rule the mandatory.

This is the HW division... what you want and what you get are two different things...

I'd like to say Fury is next in line... but Wlad is more focused on getting that WBC belt.... so could be Wilder.

I imagine it will be a voluntary defense... then Wilder... then Fury...

Though I am hoping it is Fury next.

Glazkov - he is already Wlad's mandatory, and Wlad's next defense will be against his mandatory, so you can probably take this one to the bank.
Fury - Fury's camp is making tons of noise about wanting this fight. I think the only two hold-ups for Wlad - Fury are when Fury's resume is sweet enough to make it happen, and when Fury is absolutely sure that he wants to take this risk. I think right now, both of those hurdles are completely cleared.

For anyone downplaying the possibility of a Povetkin rematch, I don't care how much you don't want it, there comes a point where a fighter earns a rematch. Povetkin just KO'd Charr and Takam, which is already a pretty strong comeback that stacks-up well compared to Wilder's entire resume in his entire career. Imagine if he beats Perez next month, and then beats Wilder in October or November. If a man beats Charr, Takam, Perez, AND Wilder, plus he holds the WBC belt, then you can't begrudge him a rematch regardless. Povetkin is already the #1 contender WITHOUT wins over Perez and Wilder. I mean, there comes a point, y'all. I'm not saying Povetkin will beat Wilder, but if he does, you just gotta shut up and let him get that rematch.

Also, for anyone who's like "I have no idea who Wlad will fight beyond 12 months from now, because it seems like no one else is on the horizon," Artur Szpilka actually could be on the near horizon. I'm pretty confident that in 18 months, he will be on the short list of top heavyweights that Wlad hasn't already beaten.

Fury's mandatory for the WBO, if Wlad doesn't fight him next he gets stripped.

Yes, Fury and Glazkov are both mandatories Klitschko has to take care of.
Looks like Fury next and then Glazkov.
After that I guess he'll be free to fight Wilder - maybe a year from now.

I agree. Glazkov next, then Fury. I do not think Wilder wants any part of Wlad and will try to milk the belt.

1. Fury
2. Glazkov

These two are already lined up and they will happen unless something unexpected comes up.

Povetkin rematch wont happen if only because Povetkin doesnt want that and he have chosen WBC rout.

3. Wilder v Povetkin winner.

I believe Povetkin will force mandatory on Wilder and I doubt Wilder pulls out. Although you can expect anything from a Haymonade.
