Years ago there was a fine Farringdon pub that would acquire a late licence and play all the big fights live. Inevitably that went out of business. Is there anywhere like that left in London? Or is the only option to watch the fight to be found in the ninth circle of hell that is the casino?

Neither of these venues are 'great' but Walkabout Temple and N1 Sports Bar London Bridge have both been advertising showing it.

Thank you for those whitey - Yes I've come across the London Bridge one before, a small room and fairly rough. Walkabout Temple must be a large venue?

Yeah, Walkabout in Temple is a fairly sizeable venue.

Yeah a big long room. Undoubtably be packed with plebs I'd imagine.

Flying Horse might be interesting...it's round the corner from my office and quite old school for a 'city' pub. Don't consider this a concrete recommendation though, didn't know they showed sports full stop to be honest!!

I won't be in London anyway so don't have this dilemma fortunately. DD

Bit of a dive, I have been in there a couple of times for football or what not and it's a bit rough. I wouldnt recommend it.

However I am also interested in somewhere in London that is showing the fight.

The famous Brown's in Shoreditch will have it on - £10 entrance for the boxing and a load of strippers that you can wear like hats, should you so wish...

But none confirmed good though. I would prefer to hear the commentary, bit of the build up too, rather than shite music and 'DJs', wolfing down carling and cooked-from-frozen burgers. Someone will be sick before 6, and I'll need to sit it out till then. pah probably stay in

FYI, some very impressive streaming sites had surfaced in the last week or so. I recommend you stay clear of them, because IMO they are designed to grab your money & that's it.

Thanks KT. Have you tried Riley's Piccadilly recently? I used to go but gave up. They're ostensibly a sports bar, but seem to despise a sports crowd and prefer to pump out deafening music for the benefit of a deserted dance floor, ignorant to the fact anyone in search of such a night would go anywhere in London but there. An absurd place. Don't know if their direction has changed though.

No, haven't been in that one mate, but popped into Victoria tonight. It's £10 a ticket, open till 6, said alcohol will 'probably be served till about 4 am.' Not sure if you've been in the Victoria one, but it's good for the Boxing, only a few dart boards in there on that floor, no loud music.

Depending on where you live in London, a Shisha café might be a good shout too mate.

Worth joining private members clubs for this kind of thing. They almost all have licenses.

Aha! I used to watch then boxing there in years gone by, they don't seem to have advertised it this time, I can't see where you buy tickets, so I'm guessing it's on the door is it?

Yes mate, though they did advise to buy them in advance at the venue.

I went in there on a quiet Sunday couple of months back - its exactly the same as it used to be based on that experience mate.
