Which one? Why or why not?

He is going to have to throw at least some jabs some to keep Manny off balance.
But, Mayweather doesn't jab much if he can get away with it.
The smart money says lead and counter right hands will be a huge weapon.
And if Floyd DOES do damage with the left, it will just as likely be a hook as a jab.

Its the lead right and check hook that'll be most important. He will jab but mainly to the chest to create space.

Both weapons will be key in this bout but it will be the right hand that subdues MP because he has such difficulty avoiding it.

If these guys can land EASILY (I might add) then imagine how much more faster and accurate Floyd's right hand will get there and how often.

I think the lead right is going to land, and land often. I voted for the jab to be the key though, because I think it is the most under-used, under-rated punch in boxing. Floyd Sr. is a huge advocate of it, and Floyd will use it I think more than he has in the past, to the head and to the body. Especially the body. Most guys that fight Pac just cover up or some bend over when he throws. This allows Pac to throw multiple punch combinations, squared up like he does. Floyd isn't Algieri, Rios, or Bradley....and we all saw what he did to JMM, who gave Pac fits.

Floyds always had such a great jab and i've always wondered why he doesn't use it more often. I think he avoids leaning on the jab because it affects his counter punching reaction, which is his strength. He sometimes uses his left to just paw or just touch in a way that sets up the right perfectly. He's nasty and i am already aggravated that Manny will have such a hard time finding him in there.
Every time I convince myself that Manny has a chance, I think about how much he struggled with JMM because of his trouble with an effective counter puncher. I then tell myself, don't worry...styles make fights and we've seen it time and time again, just because A was effective against B, doesn't mean that B will be affective against C. Then i remind myself that Manny is a southpaw and it's a different look for Floyd. Then I tell myself that i'm reaching this hard to find reasons Manny will win, he has no shot.
Manny's been getting hit regularly with lead right hands by far less skilled boxes than Floyd. That punch will prove to be most effective factor in the fight IMO.
