I had heard this a week or two ago! Decent fight. Ustinov isn't anywhere near as busy as Wach! Two big guys.

Doesn't seem as durable either. This is a better match-up for Price in my opinion and putting him against someone who punches hard enough to stop him while having an excellent chin that could offset his biggest asset seemed a bit odd from a match-making perspective. There were plenty of other opponents, like Ustinov, who offered similar rewards with significantly less risk.

Yeah defo mate. Ustinov is pretty slow but can still hit. Price needs these type of fights to progress.

Is he scared to face Wach?” CES and Global Boxing first received an offer for Wach to face Price on April 17th with the bout scheduled for June 6th in England.

Decent fight... Matchroom haven't done a show in Liverpool since the Bellew Cleverly rematch could be a co promotion.
Fielding v Vera C Smith v Rebrasse would be good fights. ( Obviously Would prefer Smtih v Fielding)

Still give Ustinov a good chance. Hell, I would give Peter Ustinov a chance vs that glass chin, and he's an actor who's been dead 11 years.

Good fight nonetheless.
Price comeback rolls on. I still think Price is in interesting addition to the HW mix. If nothing else, he can genuinely really crack. He'd likely get splattered by Joshua but it would be interesting to see what would happen should he land that bazooka right hand on AJ's chin.

It's a shame for Price that his career has come to nothing so far,i say nothing but when he talks about world title fights i think that chance has gone,it seems his confidence is shattered after the 2 Thompson losses.

Good job you're not his matchmaker
DP is never going to be a long term proposition: he's obviously too vulnerable.
But there's no reason if he's matched right, he can't have a short and exciting career at heavyweight.
Line em up and with the right opponents, big Dave can sledgehammer his way to a big showdown and a decent few paydays.

A nothing fight, he needs to be in at top class or nothing. Time isn't on his side so taking on punchbags at this stage of his career is a waste of time

Ustinov isn't a nothing fight at all, it's pretty damn competitive. In fact I think it's going to be a great fight. There's that tension in fights with Big Pricey. Will Dave get them before they get him?

Yep in fact it looks a very tough test for Price, he's 30-1 - 21 ko's - Will be a massive step back into contention if Price wins impressively.

Like others I naturally tend to think Pricey = glass chin. But it's worth remembering he took many solid whacks in the Thompson rematch, with his overall conditioning being the real letdown area that night.
At least that's something he could potentially improve on.

He's fought at this level twice and lost twice, why should he suddenly step past it? Trying to rush things was half the problem against Thompson.

Hah getting flashbacks of Jim Watt's exasperation following Pele Reid's KO loss at the hands of "world class" Orlin Norris, which happened a few short months after his previous fight - a KO loss at British title level.

Price will be carefully matched until they can get him in a big money fight. It's clear now that he just isn't durable enough at anything approaching top level - his power is world class, but unfortunately his chin is club class.
