Do you believe this or just think they are making an excuse. Apparently he had a shoulder injury 3 weeks before the fight and they considered cancelling the fight but it got better. Then before the fight he was refused a pain killer injection for it. What you reckon?

I reckon it's nonsense.

I think they're trying to keep the dream alove for a potential rematch.

There are 80 million reasons why Team Pacquiao would want to do this again.

Possibly true.. I find it hard to believe though.

Anyway, did freddie roach not once say that because of Mannys fear of needles, if Manny had a needle put in his arm that it basically renders him useless for the next three days. If that is true, why would he seek an injection before the fight??

Very few boxers that have had many fights go into them virtually pain free. Its the best excuse they can come up with at this point. I'm sure Floyd had some aches and pains too. It bothers me that they are dwelling on it so much, basically all throughout the post fight interview. What we saw in this fight was a good example of why uncle Bob kept this fight from happening until now.

I imagine every world class fighter, especially those aged over 35, are constantly carrying some sort of injury. No one can train and fight at that level and be in tip top condition all the time. Pac never seemed to be in pain in the fight, once the adrenaline kicks in it covers at lot of pain up. An excuse I think, if he won I doubt we would have heard anything about it.
