Sorry, but had to pay tribute to the performance last night - the best game to watch since we demolished Germany 5-1.
Bit worried about the vulnerablity to set pieces and Beckham's still not firing on all cylinders, but with Rooney looking sensational and Scholes hitting form we've got to be in with a decent shout of going all the way - Portugal's going to be a tough gig though.

Aren't 'The Rooneys' supposed to be a boxing family? Wayne certainly looks like type.

Anyone know anything about them?

Sorry, I don't read the tabloids much. 8)

its like the missing links, evwn the mother is built like a wrestelr.
great potential that he is realising thoug, makes you wonder how good he would be if he got decent sdervice in the premiership as opposed to a relegation battle huh.....no offence to any evertonians.

im surprised that with all the Shrek 2 premiers he's having to attend and the games in Portugal that Rooney still has the stamina to last a whole game.

I reckon Ronneys setting himself up for a fall here, remember Lewis filming Oceans 11 before the Rahman fight then his lack of preperation letting him down in the fight? well mark my words starring in Shrek will undoubtedly cuase young Waynes game problems

And the worst atmosphere. I used to go there when I was at Uni (before you could listen to Plymouth games online), and was amazed to find that I was one of the few people making any noise. It was only near the end of the season (this was the season they had DeFoe on loan) that anybody seemed to cheer the team on/sing/make any noise. Strange place. I started going to watch Dorchester games in my second year, and I swear that there was more noise at The Avenue Stadium than at the old Dean Court ground.
