Boxrec already looks like a proverbial ghost town to me, compared to what it used to be.

As to what happens to the people who only wanted to discuss Floyd and Manny, they probably stay, and portray the fight the way they would like. It's not like Manny isn't an all time great anyway. Floyd was just better last night.

I mean, I wouldn't argue that Pacquiao ever would have beaten him. I think Floyd was significantly better in years past. But I'm sure plenty will.

U r right Bobby...i started in the early 2000s. Nothing like this, actually talked boxing about a variety of fighters. Now its a hand full and it always turns into race or where the fighter is from argument.

Fact is, Manny was injured & Prime Manny would have knocked Floyd OUT!

Especially the PacTURDS, they only came on the boxing scene when MP started to gain popularity, most of them don't know anything about boxing, all they ever followed was Manny.

It's great for us real boxing fans that we follow more than just Mayweather or Pacquiao because now we can all focus on the other fighters who will still be around long after these Turds are gone and Manny with them.

Irony is a hard concept for some to grasp, I suppose.

Part of me hopes they find another fighter to follow. If nothing else it keeps people talking about the sport on various forums, and even if the fighters will never be on the same level as Mayweather and Pacquiao the sport isn't really harmed by some fighter fanatics. As we see with the Thurman fans and the GGG fans.

On the other hand I want them to piss off and have done for a whole, sick to death of current day boxing conversations revolving around those two fighters. I'd love to see more threads about prospects, global boxing, and fighters from around the world being given some attention. As fans we've missed out on so many great fighters and fights because of the relentlessness of the fanboys. It'd have been great for American and British TV to have showcased more fighters like Hasegawa, Gonzalez, Wonjongkam, Narvaez et al.
