Boxing pundits were comparing these three fights in terms of anticipation and historical significance.

To me, Duran vs Leonard I and Leonard vs Hearns I, were more historical and more anticipated than that garbage we have seen last night. The BIGGEST LOSERS WERE THE BOXING FANS.

THE great Floyd Mayweather, Jr. to me, IS THE MOST BORING FIGHTER THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFETIME. I could never watch his fights and have never paid top dollars to see him. The best fighter in the world and this what the fans get?

Money and Pacman were laughing all the way to the bank. Mayweather won that fight? That fight was a draw at best. To me, Pacman won that garbage of a fight. Both fighters need to retire. You waited five years for this? LOL

The problem is that it happened too long after it was first mooted & both were past their respective bests when it did happen.

Had it happened in 2009, when it was first mooted, it would have been up there with Leonard -v- Duran 1 & Leonard -v- Hearns 1 in terms of importance, but not in 2015.

Whether the fight would have been exciting in 2009 is open to debate: I personally think the outcome would have been exactly the same, as I cannot ever imagine Manny being able to do Floyd much damage.
