Where are they? Steve could be stuck at traffic lights on the Wolverhampton ring road; knockout will be supporting his guv'nor who nearly pulled off a brilliant crime (1.1 million quid).
Hey, we miss your knowledge lads.

Knockout is away on holiday at the moment. He might not know about the Peacock situation unless one of his boxer friends has informed him.

I hope he doesn't think we hold it against him. Christ, I wish I had the balls to drive into Gatwick airport in a fake security van and get staff to load a million quid into the back of it.
It deserved to succeed.
And it was only the HSBC's money. They made twenty times that by moving their call centres from Britain to Bangalore.
They deserve to be robbed.

like you say the alledged crime was non-violent and yet the way they are treated by the justice system you would think they were mass murderers//\\

Yeah, the trial is being reported in the London press. The police bugged Peacock for several months and discovered the plans for the heist that way. Sneaky bastards.
Great to hear from you. Hope you're having a nice time in a magnificent city. :TU:

You should know by now, that you get more for theft than any other crime in this country.

As they say, possession is nine-tenths of the law. The penal system hands out huge penalties to those who take what is not theirs, in order to deter others from getting a taste for it.

People often get longer for armed robbery where not a single shot is fired than for murder.

whatever happens in the trial and it looks like they may be looking at 5-7 years.... Tony and Martin are thoroughly decent blokes and family men.... the media will build them up into the new krays or some bollocks like that....

That's true, but when the crime is against a big institution, the judicial system (an institution itself) really gets on it's high horse.

It's one thing that makes me sick about this country. Most of the judiciary will have shares in these institutions or some finance houses and take it is a fornicating personal slight.

Yet when some old dear who hasn't hurt a fly in her life gets filled in by some crack head, he gets community hours. Go figga.

Got a bit worried when I heard on the news that the poor bugger who got stabbed in Portugal last night was called Steve, and was from Wolverhampton. He'd been travelling the world for a while though, so it can't be our very own Steve689.

Thankfully, it's not Steve. The guy who died in Portugal was Steve Smith and our Steve has a different surname.

Sorry to drag up this old thread but this fellow mentioned Steve Smith who was a mechanic who lived a few streets down from me. I remember one christmas down our local he downed a chili shot and spewed over a chair :D I was quite shocked to hear he was killed, he had a little boy of about 2 years old. A sad turn of events.

P.S. Cheers for the concern :TU: I'll be back in force soon guys.
