So Geale has to lose only 1 pound in just 30 days.. how did he even manage to do something like that? He must be in tremendous shape or He has to move down to 154.. it really doesnt make that much sense, Most Middleweights are around 167 to 172 at the 30 days weight ins..
As for Cotto I am quite surprised he came in a 165 lb, I expected him to be around 160-162 considering how "Very Small" People claim he is. Golovkin was also 165 Lb in the 30 day Weight in for the Rubio fight, and now he is 169 for the Monroe fight. So there isnt that much of a size difference between those 2 and that makes it interesting.
Note: Cotto was 160lb when he fought against Martinez at the 30 day weight in last year. Which means that Cotto will probably try to get accustumed to the division.

Where did you source the weights from?

Judging by his FB page, Geale seems like a bit of a gym rat.
He's also nOt the biggest middleweight ever.
People have talked about him dropping weight for years

I've thought for a while that Geale would be comfortable fighting at 154lb, this pretty much confirms my thoughts. Hopefully he's not over-training, but at least we know he won't be weakened or drained for the fight. I know in his early 20s, Geale campaigned as an amateur at 69kg (152lb) with same days weigh ins, so no, he's not a big middleweight.

Now Cotto will need to find something else which would give him advantage. Maybe disallow Geale's favorite gloves ?

Cotto will probably lose this fight and any other fight against a top 30 middleweight who has the full use of both of his arms and legs. He has very close to zero chance against against GGG, Murray, Lee, Quillin, Saunders, Eubank and even Lemieux.
