Why did the TV portion of the Mansour undercard have fighters o it with records of 14(5)-3, 24(8)--6, and 5(1)?
I mean who wants to watch this CRAP?
No real possibility of a KO.

records are just random numbers until you actually look them up and see who
the opponents were. knockouts can happen anytime and there are lots of good
fights that don't end in ko/tko. i thought mattysse was going to ko provo but
that fight turned out to be a great war. it all depends on the matchups.
some people just don't like the sport of boxing at all and think there is some
obligation to mismatch guys every time for a slaughter from the roman colloseum.
sometimes when you watch boxing all you get is boxing. sorry

Very good point. Not every fight has to end in a knock out to be entertaining

I do agree with that. Usually, not always, but usually a fight is much better if at least one guy has some zap in his shots. Frazier-Ali 1 and Ibeaubuschi-Tua are just two of many great fights that did not end in a KO.
If I don't know the fighters, I'd rather see a guy 4(4)-0 vs 15(4)-2 because even though it looks as though only the first guy has some power, at least there is some mystery involved. Is the undefeated guy with a perfect record going to be exposed by the experienced fighter? Will the undefeated guy be a prospect?
But two guys with records just like 15(4)-2 is likely to be a bore. If that doesn't explain my point, Jimmy Young vs Foreman was an exciting matchup, Jimmy Young vs Bugner would have been torture to watch.

I'm glad someone noticed this a decade and a half in, a couple of weeks before the series finale.
They almost got away with it.

Up until last night I thought ESPN2 had great undercards and business and politics was always on the straight and narrow.
Had quite some revelations this morning.
Some things are still worth complaining about.
