I very much doubt it, but will be good to see if AJ can tear him out early to make a statement. He desperately needs kingpin I think. I know it's early but he seems very ready to move up. It feels like bullying with his current crop of opponents.

When was the last time Johnson had a few months notice for a fight?

He may well be better than he normally is against Joshua.

I wish that Johnson were in better shape given the notice he's had:

Johnson will do the usual thing he does in these fights and just cover up hardly throwing anything. He hardly threw a shot vs Fury, threw precious little vs Chisora. It will be a similar story here, just a case of whether Joshua can pierce the guard.

Let's hope he can't.

From what I've seen before I thought Johnson was in decent shape! Straight forward win for AJ!

Anyone he fights next will be a step up from the drifter he sparked out last night.

Johnson looks intimidating and confident with his aviators on, but whenever you see him in the ring (or even when he took his shades off in that photo above) he transforms into Mr Ordinary.

It was great to start hearing some smack talk from AJ. So far he's just been humble and waving off the talk of him destroying opponents, but now he can respond to Kingpin's motormouth.

Like most Kingpin fights, I can see the press conference being more entertaining than the fight

Johnson always talks a good game and then turns up for the payday and just does enough to go the distance.

He looks a bit like James Toney there.

Don't think that picture is doing him
Justice, I remember watching thm last night and thinking best shape Johnson has been in, won't cause any problems I don't think, Joshua needs to stop fighting bums though

Johnson will be clearly behind on the scorecards when in the 5th round he is backed up on the ropes with joshua all over him when the referee calls it off. Johnson stands there in disbelief at the decision whilst eddie hearn tells all and sundry how this KO shows how joshua will dominate the division and "klitschko couldn't do that".

I don't like him. Sky have forced him down our throats so much that I have gone the other way. We, the fans, will decide who the future peoples champion is, not Eddie Hearn.

I envisage, an end of second round retirement from Kingpin, citing a shoulder injury, after feeling the power of the young Joshua in the 1st and 2nd rounds. Johnson retains his 'never been' stopped image; Joshua moves onto the next bum of the month.

I personally thought that Zumbano Love, used his hands more to push his hair back than he did to throw punches back against Joshua...

No, he wouldn't.

Johnson isn't a bum and Joshua has been moved along fairly quickly.

The criticism Joshua receives for his level of opposition is ridiculous and ignorant.

After Johnson is dispatched I'd like to see AJ against Manual Charr or Michael Grant, someone of that ilk, then David Price.

Then... who knows. On to the world champs as he'd essentially be a contender.

I'm not a Hearn fanboy, but AJ just might be the best heavyweight out there currently and something that gets confirmed in the next 12-18 months.

When you are stopped you lose your never been stopped image.
