Poor Curtis Jackson just can't catch a break. Not only has his promotional company been shut out by more established promoters but also all his big name fighters have suffered such devastating losses whenever he has tried to move them to the next level. Billy Dib, Gamboa and now James Kirkland. Poor matchmaking or bad luck? Either way I believe SMS in not long for the boxing world. You ain't getting rich of this venture Curtis!

His fighters are on the shelf most of the time. How about keeping them busy til a money fight comes up. Gamboa and Kirkland have a name so i know theyd get one. Gamboa hasnt fought since dec or something.

Dib apparently took Miura as opposed to Pedraza after having been offered both.... Foolish decision... Unless the money for the two was vastly different.

Kirkland losing to Alvarez was not bad luck. You could have pretty much guaranteed that result. Depending on the amount of money made from that fight, it may have been the right move or not. It's okay for a fighter to lose sometimes, as long as you get the right price for it. I wouldn't have blamed him for thinking Gamboa would beat Crawford, though.
