He never said he was the best, I've seen heavyweights go over from phantom shots, but Love took some clouts from AJ.
He was never going to win and knew it, but he didn't bottle it like some I've seen

Joshua's jab was fast and accurate last night too

I thought he was a tidy enough opponent. He wasn't firing much back but moving and looking to go a few rounds. The right hand that took him was brutal.

Zumbano Love has mixed in decent company, and done ok. AJ done a job in fashion.

Which is a recipe for disaster against some who hits as hard as Joshua.

It was a stay busy fight against someone who, on paper looked like he might be able to do a few rounds. We'll see if AJ's skills and power are the real deal against Johnson.

Johnson is the ideal opponent at this stage. He's tough, experienced and knows his way around the ring. But at the same time he's offensively unambitious and probably a bit past his best.

Just been watching his 'fight' with Shannon Briggs, Briggs was f*cked after his usual 30 secs assault and the rest of the fight was fought at a snails pace. To be fair to Love though he took a few decent clumps in the first:
