Question for those who watched the fight again.

I'm not wasting the 50 minutes again to rewatch, so I'll trust others opinions

But for any that are now aware of the "injury" did you view it differently

What did you think watching the fight ? did you see the shoulder being an issue?

I've seen still shots where people have floyd jabbing directly onto the shoulder? Was it noticeable he was aware? On the clinches was he pulling or picking on that side ?

The reason I ask have read a few articles recently on how floyd adapted knowing the injury going into the fight

I really wish people would stop making this shoulder thing into something it is not, Manny lost because he got beaten by the better fighter!

He could've had 3 shoulders and still he would've lost that fight regardless, at no point did Packy whence or give any other indication that his shoulder was a problem.

No more excuses, this horse has been beaten to death already. The final summation is; Manny didn't have the intelligence to cut off the ring and force Floyd to exchange with him, he didn't throw a high volume of shots and he was shutdown/reduced to doing not much of anything thereby ensuring that the fight was boring as hell because of him and his lack of effective ability.

What I saw the first night, I saw every time I have rewatched.

A Pacquiao who is having no problem throwing his right hand.

Interestingly, the only boxing person I've heard say they noticed something during the fight is Anne Wolfe.

No one else saw anything unusual or had a clue until Manny dropped the bombshell.

There's a thread on SI page

That really hasn't been discussed

But Floyd went from -185(average of 6 locations) to -215 almost overnight a couple weeks before the fight?

Even a yahoo article that backs it up saying that while early money was on manny. Closer to fight people are betting Floyd

I guess real coincidence this falls at same time as injury

Almost 2 to 1 in total punches, almost a 20 punch edge in powershots = no running.

Less than twice a round did Bayless have to step in and separate them = no holding.

It's called a boxing lesson people...

You have more excuses than Manny, this is truly pathetic and laughable. You just can't accept that your boy lost easily. Betting has nothing to do with this situation because that's the entire thing; had the betting public known that Manny had an injury then you wouldn't see hardly any bets placed on Packy.

What part of this do you not understand??

what part of it don;'t you understand- Yahoo specifically mentions that all the late activity was on Floyd

to move up -30 almost overnight is some MAJOR betting, because there was a lot on both sides being laid down- this isnt a small fight, where a couple grand could move it up that much, there was a lot of activity

That doesn't mean it had anything to do with Manny's shoulder, not one person outside of the NSAC knew about Manny's shoulder injury.

Come on

I'm just relaying an article and thinking out loud

But you're not even thinking

One person ???

Manny,doctor, roach is 3
You saying arum wasn't in on it as well?
Manny sparring partner said he knew and he and other sparring partners sent home early

You really think nobody talked and word didn't get out of the inner circle ?

Like I said in at least one other thread............

Its just a bullshit excuse. There was no problem with his shoulder during the fight. His inactivity was due to his fear of being countered. Not once did Manny even wince in pain from the "injury".

Re-watch the interview with Kellerman. Manny didn't offer the excuse then, because he was saying he won the fight. After he realized he did actually lose the fight, apparently, the excuse came up. Why in the hell didn't he even mention it to Kellerman? It wasn't an issue until someone reminded him it was. Give me a fornicating break. His whole team is fornicating retarded, and will hear backlash for their stupid excuse for years to come...AND pay for it.

1.No

2.No, no, no.

Manny didn't do shamefully, all things considered, he's obviously still an all time great, and I had him winning a few rounds. But as people have pointed out, fighters go into fights with injuries all the time.

The main reason Manny didn't win, or even fight in the way some might have expected him to, is that he was fighting Floyd Mayweather.

You (more likely Yahoo, not trying to call you out) are failing to state the point that Floyd dropped from -210 to -185 about 5-6 days before the fight. So the line movement was just correcting the prior one.

If as he said shoulder start hurting in 3rd why did he give away the first 3 rounds? Incidentally the first round he won was 4th. He accepted the role of the second fiddle in Mayweather show, so he should stop moaning about injustice now.

If Manny's shoulder excuse can be believed, you will probably also believe he was afraid of needles, and he signed the contract (before there was a contract). I know people like Manny, but his lying ass needs to be called what it is. He wouldn't even give JMM the satisfactory of his victory either. "Lucky punch".

Take the loss like a man, and either move on and come back, or retire.

Boy what a letdown. I never thought the fight would be THAT boring with Floyd running all night and I never thought that even a week later we'd still be talking about stuff like Manny's Shoulder or possible sprint for charity between Floyd and Usane Bolt.

Can't we move on and just get ready for some real boxing coming up and not rehash a slap fight between two geriatrics after a disagreement during scrabble.

Enought Floyd....Enough Manny....give me a little bit of GGG now. A guy that actually knows what the fans want and is exciting. Bieber and Floyd and can go buy some hats some where and Roach and Manny can make a list of excuses. It's over. Move on and lets watch some REAL BOXERS in their Prime, not 10 years past it.

GGG...GGG.....GGG...

Running and still won by landing more and throwing more, you're just a sore ass loser just like Manny's lying ass.
