Failed a drugs test, stanozolol, blaming it on his brother.

What's his brother in jail for?

Why did they fall out?

His story might be more believable if more details are released.

Well that has buggered him big time. 2 years off at this stage of his career is not what he needs. He get off the straight and narrow now. Poor sod if it`s gen up.

Aaah so this is why he has been quiet for a while.

Hope it gets sorted and he fights soon

Doesn't look good on Galahad part as his brother has got nothing to lose as he's in jail so can take the rap for anything.

Galahad was injured since his last fight so maybe was looking at drug route to recover quicker and train harder. that's why you need a pharmaceutical doctor to get you to pass all the random tests. it's stupid reading it on the net and doing it yourself

He could get a longer sentence.

It's always somebody else's fault.

Ben Johnson tried to blame everyone but himself when he got caught taking Stanozolol; he too came up with the spiked drinks nonsense & even now, he still peddles the mysterious Andre Jackson story. :witzend:

I wish these guys would just come clean when they're caught juicing.

All sounds a bit dodgy doesn't it?

2 years out is a massive blow at this stage. By the the time he resumes his career and works his way back into contention the Frampton and Quigg fights will have well and truly sailed.

He can come back in September 2016. I don't think the Quigg and Frampton fights will be gone, especially if they don't have him messing about fighting journeymen when he returns.

Stanozolol`s not a bulking Steroid either,it`s more of a lean-gain and strength application so even his excuses are a little lame

Pugilist Specialist should confirm Barry is telling the truth anytime now.

He isn't going to jump straight into a massive fight though. It's gonna be the beginning of 2017 at the earliest. I think Quigg will have been beaten and moved up by that point.

As for Frampton, if his star continues to rise as it has done, Galahad would have to have a couple of very good wins to make him a viable opponent.

I'm a big fan of Galahad, seems like a massive waste of 2 years of his prime, especially for a lad who's style is based on speed and reflexes. I know he's only 25 but now should be the time when he really starts to make his mark.

You've got to feel for Jazza in this. If he was at it back then that could have been the difference in a very close fight.

So it means he is out for just over a year from now.

Is he banned by bbb of c or in general? Way I'm getting at is could he get a yemeni (I think that's where his heritage is) and box on other European cards?

Winstrol ain't used for bulking, its for speed and strength - or if you are a bodybuilder, for getting a dry, shredded look when dieting to look their best.

Wow! All that talk about being the best of the 3 and now he'll have to wait at least 2 years to prove it!

I was wondering what the script with him was! This explains it! If he has cheated then he'll mend him but if he's the victim of any underhand nonsense then I feel sorry for him! It's a fine line! Regardless, a two year ban is a massive blow to the boys career!

Ridiculous excuse and in no way plausible. He's accepted a drink from a brother who he has had a big falling out with? Or his kidda has broke in through the night and spiked his protein shake? Well aye. Dom 'Tight Tops' Ingle must be gutted eh? Be interested to hear his thoughts about steroid abuse. I also feel gutted for Jazza Dickens as no way of knowing if their 2013 war was on the level now is there? Two years may as well be 10 years for a super-bantam to be inactive. 100% that's his career down the swanny. Shocking as well as he looks the part.

Winstrol is used for preventing muscle being spared when cutting, it dries and hardens you up and will increase strength. It has very little use to put weight on you. So hes talking rubbish there.

It also has a very short half life, it is usually taken in the oral form which has a half life of around 9 hours (i think), the injectable form has a half life of around 24 hours. So unless he was very unlucky and got spiked as a one off within 18 hours of his test, then hes probably lying and hes used to keep muscle and increase strength. But who knows.

So much talent wasted, I know he could still have a go once his ban is over, but he will have that stigma attached to him for the rest of his career.

Ok, seen as though you are very naive, I'll help you out... I'm guessing Kid knew full well what he was taking and his brother offered his services when he was caught. Much in the same way criminals "write off" crimes for other criminals whilst locked up. They'll ask for other offences to be TIC 'd(taken into consideration).
