I'm not clicking on your link but no prizes for guessing what he's saying and who he's saying it about, you don't have to make a new thread every time someone praises your insatiable man crush, just make one thread and post all your Floyd porn in there, that way everyone else can carry on debating about other fighters

And no I'm not a pacturd ,I like both guys and dozens more in fact

28 seconds of nothing before Thurman starts speaking in a 2:30 video. Poor editing.

Then just focus and comment on what he said, not on the "poor editing"

Why don't you comment on what he said? It is your thread.

The geniuses here already know what and every other boxer besides dumb ass Holyfield and Sugar Lame Mosley has stated so it's almost like they will avoid any thread I start unless one of their cronies make a post.

I'm the Floyd Mayweather of Boxrec (=Most Hated) and that's cool with me because I always tell the truth even when I lie.

Basically Thurman said that Floyd schooled Manny, he made it sound like it wasn't even much of a fight worth watching because Pacquiao didn't do anything and was mostly shutdown.

Now, once again the detractors here will focus on name calling me or begin to hate Thurman because he picked the winner before the bout and made his comments in regards to it afterwards.

It's really weird this mystique that if you say anything against Manny Pacquiao that you are automatically categorized as a person who they hate.

Ultimately it was a low-action fight where neither fighter landed a lot of good punches and there were several close rounds that could fairly be scored either way. While I originally had it 116-114 to Pacquiao, upon second viewing, I revised my score to 115-114 to Mayweather. That said, I think the 116-112 scorecards were perfectly reasonable and I accept that Mayweather won the fight.

I think the people showing bias in this fight are:

a) The people who say that Manny definitely won the fight because 'Floyd ran'.

and

b) The people who say Floyd won the fight easily and can't accept that anyone who isn't a 'Pactard' could have the fight close.

Basically every professional fighter outside of Holyfield and Shame Mosley has said that Floyd won this fight by a wide margin. I don't care what any person here who has never boxed in the life thinks about how close this fight supposedly was.

I agree with Robert Garcia, the fight was 10-2 in rounds.

Another ban for the nutty KBB would be a good move for the forum. Aside from flooding it with drivel like this his abrasiveness is over the top and it's very difficult to have reasoned debate with him; it's personal-attack after personal-attack.

Fair enough, but you should also accept that you have a built-in bias for Floyd which probably contributed to your one-sided scorecard. I accept that my original scorecard was partly a result of my being in an aggressively pro-Manny, anti-Floyd environment. I felt it was close but Manny had edged it. Rewatching by myself, I still saw it as a close fight, but had Floyd the winner by a single point. Not that it should make a difference, but I have boxed, though never at a professional level.

I'll repeat my original point - it's not suprising that there are such a range of scorecards in a low-action fight such as this. I would be interested to see the range and average from fightscorecollector, if he is still active. For what it's worth, upon second viewing I only had Manny winning one of the last six rounds and I think Floyd would likely beat him more convincingly in a rematch.

LOL to being biased, would a biased fan of Floyd believe that he lost to Castillo? Would a biased fan of Floyd believe that Judah knocked him down legitimately and it wasn't scored?

I think you're the one who's biased because in the face of all these fighters who have said that Floyd won or Floyd won easily then you still come here with these ridiculously close scores shows who the biased person is.

Either way, I'm thankful that people like you and a few others weren't the ones scoring this fight because it would be so much controversy that we would not only have fans committing suicide, we'd actually have fans here killing one another.

Look I have nothing against anyone on this forum but I've always been the most outspoken and unbiased person when it comes to this sport and regardless if I like a fighter's skills in the ring I can still be honest about his performance. If you believe your viewing of the fight gave you those close scores then so be it and you're probably right about a rematch but then there are others who say that Manny's shoulder was hurt and the outcome would be different.

I apologise if I have offended in calling you biased, that was just me calling it as I see it based on what I've read of your posts. Glad to see you're reasonable regarding the Castillo and Judah fights. I will accept that I have a small built-in bias for Manny over Floyd, but I tried to score the fight as fairly as I could both times and accept that I got round 12 wrong the first time around. I still believe that rounds 2, 3, 7, 9 and 10 were close and could be reasonably scored for either fighter.

We're cool. I had Floyd winning rounds 2 and 3 because Manny did nothing in those rounds, 4 and 6 were Packy's best rounds and honestly the only rounds I really scored for him after I looked at it again. Originally I had it 9-3 but what do I know, I admitted that I like Floyd as a boxer so I'm certain I have bias too.

I agree Round 4 and 6 were Manny's best rounds, though I think he won rounds 10 and 3 reasonably clearly too. I think saying Manny did 'nothing' in rounds 2 and 3 is akin to giving Manny round 12 because 'Floyd ran' - Manny threw more punches in both rounds and neither landed anything significant - the compubox numbers for round three in particular are highly suspect/plain wrong. We all have our own little biases, nothing to be ashamed of

LOL, it's funny that people say Floyd ran in round 12 but I suggest you go and look at it again. Mayweather was the one landing the most shots in the 12th, he used lateral movement at the end of the round just as he had previously in order to stop Packy from trying to steal the round with his last second flurries.
