Robert Garcia was asked; Maidana vs Pacquiao who wins and would he want this fight, Garcia said sure that is the type of fight Chino is looking for and he made it sound as though that is the type of fight that will bring Maidana out of his vacation.
Garcia only gave Manny 2 rounds in the Floyd fight. lol
So what do you think of this matchup, who wins and how??

If he wants Maidana to be off for another year, sure.
At the moment, I would be inclined to go with Paquiao, who knows by then though.

I think Maidana has a decent chance given the fact that Manny gets hit clean a lot and that Marcos would be one of the biggest punchers Pac can face.
That being said, I would be surprised if Pac wasn't able to do some of the things to Maidana that he did to Rios.
Manny by close but clear UD

While Maidana is one of my favorite fighters of the last 10 years, I understand his limitations. At this point in time, Maidana's style is tailor made for Manny. I can see him getting stopped if the meet soon. Would be a fun fight while it lasted.
I'd personally love to see Garcia/Pacquiao.

Now this is a man who's style is made perfect for Pacquiao. I'd love to see him get combinated on.

Good fight...same size........Garcia will be there for Pac to throw his punches in bunches and Garcia can rip that counter hook.

Pacquiao's footwork will be the difference though. By the time Garcia is throwing his counter shot Pac will have escaped. Not to mention Manny has way WAY faster handspeed than Garcia ... Easy fight for Pacquiao 120-108

Why wouldn't he fight Manny? Is he scared of him?

Canelo wont go under 154. Pacman wont fight unless its catchweight to drain his opponent.

Manny vs Thurman, Matthysse, Brook. Take on Khan for a warm up.

This would be a silly fight for Manny to take. What would he have to gain by beating a guy Floyd beat twice before. Manny needs to make a statement and beat a guy that no one thinks he should beat. Someone like Matthyse or even Khan.
I think a Manny/Canelo might be a logical fight if Canelo gets by Cotto. By the time Manny's shoulder heals, that fight should line up pretty nicely unless Cotto negotiates like the Diva extends talks.
But Manny is pretty much done now. What else do we need to see? HOF'er and one of the greatest boxers in history. That's pretty good to me.

What for? It's not like the first one was close. He would have if Pac wasn't such a pussy and disrespectful sore loser. Manny has proven over and over he isnt too bright.

I'd still pick Pacquiao to beat any Welterweight out there other than Floyd and maybe Thurman. Matthysse and Madaina would have a punchers chance but the new Manny who's defensively reliable would probably beat them clearly, Garcia would get his ass kicked, Khan would get knocked out and Brook would probably lose a decision.
This Matthysse would kick Pacquiaos ass talk is just bizarre to me. Like someone else mentioned, there are levels to this shit and Matthyse just isn't on that level. I know, I know Arum said that fight wasn't going to happen! But that has more to do with risk vs. reward more than it has to do with Matthysse being that serious of a threat. What would Pacquiao gain from even beating him? Appease these clowns on here taking Arums words and twisting them into Matthysse would knock Manny out. GTFO here..

Pacquiao vs Crawford may be next according to Arum. (proven liar so maybe we can believe him)
This of course all depends on if Manny gets a rematch vs Floyd. (which he won't)
Knowing Roach, if the fight does happen, they will force Crawford to 147 even though he has only been at 140 for one fight, to try to gain an advantage. Crawford will give Manny all he wants, and then some imo.

147 would probably end up being more beneficial to Crawford than Pacquiao.
That being said, if it happened I'd have a real hard time picking a winner. Pacquiao is still an ATG, but Crawford really seems to have it all.
