Has anyone watched MayPac a 2nd time and changed their opinion of the fight?.....

Yeah.

Each time I watch, it looks even more ones sided than I initially thought.

Same result & same feelings as when I first watched it.

Watched it twice. Had it 8-4 Mayweather both times I watched it. No question on who won.

It got closer for me on second viewing, but still a clear winner. Night of I had it 117-111, now i have it 116-112.

Ring Generalship-two times Manny controlled the ring (when he hurt Floyd and had him on the ropes), outside of this; Mayweather's movement was never stifled, Packy couldn't nor did he know how to cut off the ring so Mayweather pretty much took the bout wherever he wanted to fight from barring the two times previously mentioned.

People say Floyd ran, but after watching the fight at least 4 times now; I see him using lateral movement throughout most of the time in during the round and then stepping up the speed of the movement towards the end of the round (maybe that's the running) so that Packy couldn't steal the rounds at the last 10 seconds or so of each round.

Clean Punching-we saw it from the opening round and throughout the rest of the fight, Floyd's shots were far clearer and Manny's looked to be harder when he did land at the beginning of those two flurries.

Effective Aggression=when Floyd came forward he made the fight even easier than when he was counterpunching, Packy's only real effectiveness in the entire bout was when he hurt Floyd and had him on the ropes for those 2 moments (which is why I can see how Trainer Robert Garcia only gave him 2 rounds).

Defense-Manny slipped a couple of straight rights and countered twice landing two hard shots to start off his flurries, outside of that we were able to clearly see Mayweather making him miss repeatedly while countering him effectively with the jabs, straight rights and check hooks most of the fight.

Floyd Mayweather 10-2, I did change from the 9-3.

Yes, I originally had it 116-114 to Pacquiao, on the second viewing I had it 115-114 to Mayweather. One round I got wrong the first time was round 12, which I originally scored for Manny, but watching it again, I realise it's a fairly clear Floyd round.

I've finally admitted to what KBB has been calling me since fight night, i'm BUTTHURT and still can't bring myself to watch that mess of a fight for a second time. I guess thats the definition of butthurt.

But honestly, stop quoting Robert Garcia like he's some impartial legend who's opinion should be valued. He clearly hates Roach and is his direct competitor each year for TOY. Not to mention the issues they had during the Manny/Rios training camp Aziz kicking incident.

I'd have to agree with that.

Same score but switched rounds. Gave Mayweather the 9th and Pac the 12th the first time; switched those the second time.

What was your scorecard for the fight, Dempsey?

Why not quote Garcia? When Maidana had that UFClike affair with Floyd y'all was all in agreement with him that Chino had won that fight but now that he is saying Mayweather clearly won this fight in a dominant fashion with a score of 10-2 y'all don't like it or him.

Honestly though when I watched what the overwhelming majority of fighters had to say about the who they said won this fight not one of them hinted that this bout was anywhere near close.

So rather than listen to the DCAFs and the armchair boxers here, they were there live and they do it for a living, unlike the folks here who do it for only who they like or don't like.

It was clear who the superior boxer was from the opening minute.

watched it a few times now. the british commentating was horrific. alot of rounds mayweather moves around, showing very good defense, lands a few pitty pat punches, pac lands a couple of hard punches that are very fast that you can barely see, and mayweather gets praised for dominance!
so i argue the fight can be scored thus:
1 - may
2 - may
3 - pac
4 - pac
5 - may
6 - pac
7 - pac
8 - pac
9 - pac
10 - pac
11 - may
12 - may

i should say that rounds 8-10 were very close and could of gone either way. may deserves credit for controlling the tempo of the fight, and it certainly felt at times that pac needed to do more.
from pac's perspective, he clearly landed the harder punches of the fight, there were a few solid punches he landed that you could barely see in real time, and he was boxing an opponent who spent large amounts of time on the retreat.
I am not claiming robbery, but I believe a solid argument can be made for the above scoring. Overall the fight was a letdown but not the dominant victory claimed by some.

blah, blah, blah, blah, it's over, your score means about as much as a $3 Mexican food stamp.....it just don't exist.

one time of watching it was definitely enough! Mayweather won (in my opinion from the one time I saw it). Neither fighter showed dominance, and it was far from one of Mayweather's best performances. Maybe Father Time caught up to both of them, but neither left the ring as a champion in the publics viewpoint (or mine).
And there are too many other good fights on tv right now than to waste an hour re-watching this again...

Exactly, how is it that a has been is undefeated and the other the #2 P4P but he calls them no one else on this forum would ever categorize as has beens.
