No, I don't think so.

But no doubt he'll use it as an excuse if he loses. Hopefully Chakhkiev will stop him so there will be no whining.

Wright made Chakhkiev miss a lot in round 3, but didn't land much.

3-0 Chakhkiev

More of the same, but Wright landed a quick right counter. Chakhkiev swinging wildly!

3-1 Chakhkiev

Wright has a good straight punch arsenal but his best skill is upper body movement. Unfortunately it dimishes as the fight progressed and his lack of footwork make him an easy target in late round. I expect that to be a MAJOR problem as the fight profgresses

Isn't even close, a lot of talk of Wright before the fight though.

Both men opening up more. Chakhkiev still pressing the action, lands two good left hooks.

Wright lands nice short right upper on the inside.

4-1 Chakhkiev

Wright outboxed him in that round. Two straight rights and a right cross just before the bell. Chakhkiev frustrated.

Chak 4-2

I have it all Chakhkiev so far. Wright has good upper body movement, but that's it. Well he's got a good beard too, but no offensive output. Pretty one sided so far, but still a good fight.

Wright's speed and elusiveness still giving Chakhkiev trouble, but Wright not throwing enough punches.

Chakhkiev 5-2

Chakhiev is pretty limited.

These knockouts today have been very suspect lol

That was a MASSIVE bodyshot!

Chakhkiev played possum for the first half of round eight, then came forward with aggressive combinations to the head.

Wicked left hook to the liver drops Wright for the full count.
