It could go any which way but boring this one, i'd favour Ryder on points but when you put two guys like this in a ring together you are going to get a proper fight.

Cracking match-up and I've found it hard to separate them. I know Gary has a lot of belief in Blackwell.

I think it will swing back and forth and be a right Pick'em,can't see either guy taking a proper grip of the fight,Blackwell is good enough to beat Ryder but i still think John will get it on points, I never seen Nick's European title fight with Bursak but he had Max badly hurt by all accounts and he never wilted against Khomitsky whereas arguably better fighters than him were KO'd by Sergey

Ryder didn't shine last time out against Godoy but he pulled out a great KO, I didn't have his fight with Saunders as close as most,I though Billy Joe was a clear winner,in saying all that,this is probably Ryder's time to step up and win a title so I reckon he nicks it,Ryder can be quite 1 paced and Blackwell's a busy fighter so John needs to raise his game

Lol true,its just that Nick has so much potential but he's just too nice at times,nows the time to let it all go.

good shout, he's a tough man isn't he? He looked outclassed the first 3 rounds, Ryder looked absolute class and a level above Nick. It shows what 3 quick punches bang on target can do.

Nick is the most underated and under estimated lad in british boxing.

He has never shown 50% of what he is capable of and I also believe that true of Sat, he is learning the hard way and again will be better for this next time out and I believe now being a champion will see him really rise.

The engine he has is phenominal and his work ethic and will to suceed is incredible.

I only hope he is still seen as lucky for the stoppage as it means another nice payday from the bookies for me

Great shout, i also backed Blackwell on my accumulator which also backed Linares. I'd have happily lost to see Mitchell win, what a fight.
Blackwell had that look in his eye at the weigh in, and in his interview on the same day seemed to have immense self belief for this fight. Can't say i believed him after the first 3 rounds, Ryder looked very good at that point.
