Simple question.... which one is more worthy of headlining this weekend's PPV?

Both fights are absolutely rubbish PPV headliners, but Khan is almost always exciting to watch & Gavin is almost always awful to watch, so I'd say Khan v Algieri just knicks it.

Khan vs Algieri.

Khan Algieri as both have achieved more than Brook and Gavin respectively. However I'm still massively disappointed in Khan's choice of opponent which seems a backwards step from Alexander.

Algieri vs khan is a much better fight.

a mate (khan fan) pointd out yesterday that if khan wins he will have beaten 2 former world champions in his last 2 fights, whereas Brook will have beaten jo jo dan and frankie gavin (if he wins saturday) in his last 2 fights.

Algieri and alexander are levels above both jo jo dan and gavin.

Brook vs Gavin is better.

Neither set the world alight but both are equally intriguing. As both opponents have the potential to make the expect winners look bad

Brook v Gavin for me as it has the all British edge to it. I also think Gavin could make it difficult for Brook for a while while I reckon Khan will just do as he pleases with Algieri. Hope I'm wrong and Algieri makes a go of it though.

i think its more of a statement fight, he's chasing pac and mayweather so he's gone after the guy who pac couldnt stop. If he does a better job on Algeri than pac did it strengthens his claims that he should be fighting to two top guys.

Thats why i understand his decision making. Hearn and Brooks decision making for this fight are just to skank the fans out of a proper fight and then have Brook carrying on calling out khan when he's only faced one live opponent in his entire career. AND i say that as a big brook fan.

No, but the original question was "which one is more worthy of headlining this weekend's PPV?"

Hindsight, I know, but I would have said the same beforehand: neither fight was worthy of PPV.
