Rate the Spike TV show....

As over 100 of you voted that you wouldn't be buying the PPV, I can only assume that you were as good as your word.

How many of those who didn't buy the event watched the Spike TV event instead? And, what did you think of it? The main host was a bit of a tit, and they seemed to talk to a lot of people who weren't anything to do with boxing.

What was your opinion?

Don't be daft; 60 would have paid and watched the event and the others have been grovelling for live streams all night as they have no money....

I paid the PPV and enjoyed the whole card; six and a half hours of boxing = cheap night. :yay:

I thought both fights were entertaining. Not mad on the production but it was a first attempt.
Jamie Moore was outstanding as co-commentator. Not only was he insightful-he was totally honest, even when that meant criticizing the home fighters.
Pity about the lack of HD,but all in all, I enjoyed it

If it's daft to expect a man to stand by his word, than I am daft.

If you are unsure, say that. I did. I wasn't sure until this morning whether I'd pay.

If you pay to watch the event, don't act the hard man and pretend you won't for a week in advance.

I'm just saying.

I was a bit squiffy when I wrote this.

I liked the show, Jamie Moore will always give an honest opinion, not so sure on the 'breakfast' show type studio, between the fights. But I'm a bit more of a traditional type.
Camera work was good during the fights, didn't miss anything.
Thought Dai Davies was unlucky, just shaded it imo

I didn't watch the fight, but people have told me Davies was ripped off terribly.

It was one of those fights where 2 or 3 rounds could of gone either way, depending on if you prefer the aggressor front foot boxing of Wale, or the back foot boxing of Davies.
I had Davies couple of rounds up.

Thought it was alright,I don't mind that setup. Its actually not a bad idea try having the studio setup like TFI Friday/Soccer AM stick a can of John smiths in everyones hand.everyone pissed up on livevtv.Beats sky's wooden setup.

It reminded me of a coldwell TV card or VIP show,it was good for first go

The studio was weird but I've never been one for moaning about Buncey,Nelson and all that tackle about studios, production etc, its all about the fights for me

I never scored Wale-Davies as i don't usually score non title fights but I thought Wale might get it but it was close and I might have had Davies taking it

MBoyane-Burkinshaw was looking like it was gonna be a brilliant fight,I was surprised by how tall Ross was but he never used his reach,he tried to have a tear up,Klaas had that look even before the fight that he wouldn't be stopped so I feared the worst when Burkinshaw started throwing bombs early, its a pity it ended the way it did

I found the studio analysis a bit weird, personally.
