Why did Willie Limond vacant the Brittish title

I see theres a vacant title fight for jr welterweight brittish title why did Willie Limond vacated

If I remember right Limond got injured gave up the belt then Jenkins and Nurse were due to contest the vacant title. Then that fell through and the title still remains vacant.

He vacated cause he was injured to let jenkins and nurse fight with the winner to defend against him

They were due to fight few months back and Nurse ended up fighting Liam Taylor I Think it was as Jenkins pulled out.

Yeah pretty much what everyone else has said
Limond was scheduled to defend his British against Jenkins, then Willie pulled out with a shoulder injury I'm sure it was,,then Jenkins was to fight Nurse for the vacant belt then Chris got food poisoning so Nurse ended up beating Liam Taylor in a non title fight
Now Jenkins will fight Nurse for the belt on Quigg undercard,I don't know why the Limond-Jenkins fight wasn't rearranged, maybe Willie has a long term injury

He got paid £2000 to vacate not great

What is the full story though ?
Say, he was getting £5k for a defence and he was paid £2k to vacate and contractually guaranteed a shot at the winner for £10k - surely that would be a great deal (especially considering he was injured anyway and would not be fighting / earning) ?

Maybe it's the best for him only he knows. £2k for not even fighting is. clever seems cheap though. If he had won he would of had £5k and still the £10k shot.. Boxing is fickle vacating isn't a great option if your going to then re fight for it
