One of the boxing-central posters has a good idea: let's e-mail Calzaghe and tell him to ditch Wank Sporren and get his nuts out of his latest tomato and back in the gym:

Joes inflated ego is probably down to allegedly telling him how all these meaningless WBO bouts have proved beyond doubt that he's the man. Calzaghe IS the man, but he hasn't proved it and allegedly is full of sh*t. Big fights at super middle or light heavy aren't going to happen unless Joe Calzaghe ditches allegedly, or Warren suddenly gets out of the WBO and WBO's back pockets and starts talking to real title holders about real fights. Whilst I feel the WBO is no less legitimate than the IBF, some of the WBO's mandetory challengers are absolutely laughable. Joe Calzaghe really needs to stop fooling himself that he's done it all at super middle, ditch the WBO title and suck up to the other organisations - the way Corrie Sanders did with the WBC to get his shot. Actually unify some titles at super middle - then move up and fight at light heavy. I've emailed Joe Calzaghe ( [email protected] ) and asked him to ditch allegedly. If all British fight fans - and curious Americans did this he'd perhaps start to listen. Check out the bbc's website and everyones laying into allegedly. Good - he's useless.

Calzaghe has lost touch on reality. He's past his best years in boxing, please don't try and tell me the best has yet to come!!!!! He beat Eubank years ago, his career has now hit stalemate in my opinion.

Don't expect to see him in any decent matchups in the near future, or ever for that matter.

What the hell is allegedly doing to British boxing?

SECOND BACK BLOW FOR JOE JOE CALZAGHE

has been ruled out of his IBF World Light-Heavyweight title challenge against Glen Johnson on July 24 at the Cardiff International Arena because of a re-occurrence of his back injury.

Very very disappointing, it's going to take Joe a long time now I feel to silence his ever growing criticts.

It seems an age since he burst on the World scene by outpointing a still usfull if very tight at the weight Eubank. But have we learnt that much more about Joe? Very little considering the amount of fights he has had.

It's a shame for him and us fans, but sadly typical of British Boxing these days.

Unless Joes next fight is against one of the to3/4 175lbs'ers he is going to get a right roasting from many Boxing fans IMO.

I hope Calzaghe can recover and get his head straight, Hope he doesn't go off the rails.

To much talent to throw it all away.
