Yeah, turned pro really young, came of age against Wonjongkam (despite barfing in the fight), claimed a title at 115 and is one of the top Bantamweight contenders...along the way he's scored notable wins over Tepparith (when both were novices), Takashi Kunishige (Japanese perennial contender), Rosas and Nashiro...was rather unfortunate against Sato and gave Yamanaka a tough bout despite the numerous knockdowns.

I'd love to see him in with McDonnell.

Yeah, he gave Pongsaklek a better test than kameda, or later Sosa, did. I like his style. Nashiro was made for him stylewise but he looked at his best that day, with an impish slickness to him.
