Lara vs a bum
Spzilka vs a bum
Beterbiev vs a bum
Julian Williams vs a bum
Helenius vs a bum
Verdejo vs a bum
Wilder vs a bum
Takam vs a bum
Parker vs a bum
One decent fight in the lot. Walters-Marriaga. And even he's a 1-10 favorite but the amateur angle is there at least.
Will these ^ matchups ever end? Such a waste of everyone's time. 9 fights and only one guy is less than a -4000 favorite.

There is no hope for an upset with the above group. None whatsoever.

Pedraza vs Klimov for the vacant IBF Super Featherweight title should be good

Best fight of the weekend is the Haskins v Iwasa IBF world title fight. Really looking forward to it.

There were probably three -10000 lines this weekend at the books. Crazy. Still looking forward to:
Haskins vs Iwasa
Redkach vs Zlatican -- this made ShoExtreme lineup. Which means no HD for me but at least it's televised.
Walters vs Marriaga

Professional boxer is to bum as Diddy is to knowledgeable boxing fan.
I kid, I kid. Seriously though, it's a disrespectful term to use for someone who puts his life on the line for the entertainment of others.

I seen more than that I think Redkach-Dejan is interesting because Redkach doesn't really have a really big win. Dejan does but the underdog I wanted to Dejan but choose to stay away.

You are like Nonstradamus or something. I was pretty excited for this weekends fight but your preview was SPOT on. Every single fight was a loser and I sat through almost every one of them. I'm afraid that this is the new landscape of Boxing. You have promoters like Top Rank and GBP getting their heads so kicked in by Al Haymon that they don't dare put one of their stars in the ring with a chance of losing because they need all the stars they can get. Then you have Al Haymon sitting on top of the mountain looking down thinking all that he needs to do is come up with 1 or 2 good fights every 4 months and people will forget about these pathetic cards they put together.
HBO After Dark promoted that show last night as all undefeated fighters. LOL. Pretty funny. That kid Verdejo looks great though. I enjoyed that fight quite a bit though it was a big mismatch.

Walters-Marriaga wasn't the war I expected but still a decent watch I suppose,Nicholas looked massive and thought he was gonna break Miguel down after the middle rounds but he elected to box which he did with good success,Marriaga had early success too with some big single shots but it was a bridge too far and he never really looked like closing the gap
Great undercard though

While I basically agree with your sentiment, there are a couple caveats here.
Parker is on the way up, and Saglam is a fine fight for him right now. He is active and weeding out the old guard. Takam fought once in April and once in June. That is very active for a contemporary fighter. At least he won't be rusty when he gets a live opponent.
The Wilder fight was surprisingly competitive. Helenius is on the comeback trail, and is allowed a couple warmups. Beterbiev hasn't even had 10 fights yet. But yeah, the rest of them, all of them need to step it up. Just playing a little

advocate.
