Has this not been posted yet, can't see it. Anyway apparently Klit is fighting Fury next in September or October. Tyson just updated his twitter page to say he's been told the fights now happening in Japan?

Strange re: the Japan thing as Klitschko said only yesterday it was in Europe

Tyson can be very annoying at times to say the least,however i'd like nothing more than for him to ko Wlad,the only heavyweight title fight i had even the slightest interest in recently was Wlad v Povetkin and look how that turned out,with Tyson you could almost guarantee excitement,even if it meant him getting knocked down or out,it would certainly get me interested in the heavies again and i really hope he wins.

Exactly, Tyson will probably lose to the better man however, but he won't go quietly.

I read it was maybe at Chelsea - and Japan must be a joke, and Wlad will flatten Fury, he's got no chance at all.

The thing I would say is that Wladimir is not giving Fury this shot through the goodness of his heart, he's being forced to because Fury is his WBO mandatory challenger.

This fight could really have happened much, much sooner had Wlad not fought bums like Leapai & Pianeta.

I read Chelsea as well,can't see it being anywhere else than Germany though.Prob back at the Imtech Arena.

Be interesting to see Wlad in with a big lump like himself! Someone who can jab with him and someone he won't be able to lean all over and spoil. At least you can pretty much guarantee Fury will have a go and make it entertaining whatever the result.

And Fury can use his weight against Wlad (which makes a nice change)... This fight becomes more and more interesting the more I think about it. Clearly Wlad is the big favourite, but you just never know with the Heavyweights...

I remember when people were guaranteeing that Haye would at least give it a go.

It goes both ways with them lacking experience against the type of opponent they'll be facing. Fury's best foes have been 6'1-6'3" fighters without much power, and the reputation for his skills is largely based on showings against relatively short, slow, plodding opponents like Chisora and Hammer, so Wlad will be a big change for him too.

I doubt Wlad fights anyone out of the goodness of his heart. You could also say that he was forced to fight several other mandatories--including Leapai--and that he could've done so earlier had he not fought other opponents, but that hardly suggests that he was avoiding them like I suspect you're implying.

He fought Leapai and Pianeta--who would each probably be among Fury's top opponents--around the times when Fury was being put on his ass by the light-hitting Cunningam and facing mighty Joey Abell, so I doubt that Wlad was shaking in his boots and running away from Fury in light of whom the latter was beating and how he was doing it.

Fury could be better prepared in terms of experience. I'd have really liked to see him go in with a Wach or Ustinov first but the opportunity is here and I give Tyson a better chance that a lot of the no-hopers Kitschko has beaten.

One of the things that could be a big problem, especially outside of the UK,is Vlad's blatant cheating...I can't see the Furious one accepting foul tactics and he will be giving it straight back. If the Ref's rubbish (and they have been poor when it comes to Vlad's holding etc) Fury could be DQ'd.

Tyson's chin and defence will probably let him down, but should be interesting to watch at least.

A Fury loss isnt a bad thing in my opinion. It will lead to a bigger domestic fight with AJ for something else, maybe a binned title perhaps

I think this ends badly For fury. Don't think he'll know how to react against someone who's the same size. Sjill wise, wlad is miles ahead.

Did a poster above actually insinuate that Wlad has been running scared of Fury?
Wlad will stop him around the middle rounds his, hands are too fast, too powerful and his technique is on a different level to Fury's.

He might not be exciting to watch but that's because he is heads and shoulders above anyone, there Is no competition. He is great at what he does and would pose serious problems for any heavyweight in the last 20-30 years.

Wlad is the best heavy in the world by some margin but I really hope Fury can out muscle him and win as Wlad is terrible for boxing we need an exciting heavyweight division and a Fury win will give us that.

I think Wlad will beat Fury easily tbh. Prob by stoppage.
