Joshua's best opponent yet, although that says very little.

The biggest question mark about Anthony Joshua is his stamina. I know that people also say his chin was never tested, but he took a lot of bombs in the amateurs from huge punchers like Medzhidov, Savon and Cammarelle. So his chin was already tested against very good puchers, because even wearing pillow gloves Medzidov and Savon KTFO'ed a lot of guys. But Joshua's stamina was never tested in the fight and I understand people's concern here, considering how some others heavy-muscled guys had stamina problems - Bruno, Seldon, even Wlad had two loses beacause his lack of stamina and ability to pace himself properly when he was younger. And Wach is the one of the guys who can test Joshua's stamina for sure, so if this fight wiil be made, it will show us that Anthony's team is confident he can go rounds.

Literally the perfect fight for a prospect of Joshua's calibre and hype.
I misread the title and thought it was Wilder and Wach. I logged in just to give Wilder props. Should have known it was too good to be true

I like the way Joshua is taking on bigger, more durable heavyweights than the other up-and-comers have been fighting. Johnson had ever been stopped before. Wach has never even been down, even though Klitschko landed a lot of flush shots. Joshua has only had 13 pro fights and he's already taking on former world heavyweight challengers.
In contrast, Deontay Wilder targeted an out-of-shape former middleweight past age 40, poor old Marlon Hayes, for his 21st pro fight!

Dangerous fight for Joshua. Wach is snail slow and clumsy but he's durable and he can punch. Hopefully we can see Joshua's chin tested.

Yes, Wach has genuinely granite chin. Nobody took Wlad's punches as well as he did. I mean, some others guys went the distance with Wlad, but look at them:
- Byrd (1st fight) had excellent defense, great reflexes and he still was knocked down twice;
- Ibragimov and Haye also had great reflexes and defence plus they had the power that made Wlad fight less agressive than he did agaist Byrd;
- Povetkin was knocked down and hurt multiple times, and while he isn't defensive wizard by any means, his defense is definitely underrated. He doesn't know what to do with oponent's jab, but he avoids power punches pretty well.
Add here that Wlad was a lot more agressive against Wach that he was against any of these guys, so Wach had to take a lot of flush punches. And he took them well, he wasn't hurt. In addition to his great chin, Wach has good power in his right hand, good stamina and of course size - he is even bigger than Joshua. Wach will be dangerous opponent for Joshua, especially late in the fight.

Joshua will beat the crap out of Wach. He is way, way too fast. He may not get a KO but he wont lose a round in the process.
