I think you meant five consecutive weeks?

Benny Leonard was the millionaire dollar champion, no?

I think the top 6 guys are pretty straight forward this year, definitely the top 5 at least.

The top six as it stands just now seem to be the best men in the division. Gans hasn't had much success against any of them expect Pea.

Agreed. Leonard (already in), Duran, Armstrong, Whitaker, Mayweather are all getting a vote from me. I'm not sure who I'd give my final vote to yet.

I think I'd give the 6th spot to Barney Ross.

Well this should be interesting. Even though i missed the vote, I pretty much had the same 1-5 in mind with the exception that Canzoneri be in 6th. I really think he should have been seriously considered having been a multiple title holder and all that. I guess he just fell short by a small margin, maybe tied between him Chavez(2xWBO), Ross(1xWBO & 1xWBC) and maybe Gans(2xWBC). Canzoneri(2xWBO &1xIBO) I thought just having that extra might have given him the edge. Its too bad he had to get 4 draws in a row right around that critical time before the voting

oh well whatevs. Thank you FOL for voting for Camacho(1xWBO & 1xIBO) he sure had some quircky luck this season however, we all know he wouldnt do much damage to the top 5 but then again, with some of the weird things that happened like getting a Split Decision over Barney Ross for the WBO Title and getting a Split Decision over Benny Leonard after a headbutt cut, he might have pulled an upset or two :D
Lol thats 2 of the Super Six that Macho has wins over

Entering the final week of competition and it looks as close as ever. Five men could still mathematically finish top of the League.

I don't think so, I think because of Duran v Mayweather that only Floyd, Duran or Ross can win

After a tournament of incredible quality and outrageous drama, here is our final standings:

................................F........W.....D.......L.........
Roberto Duran...............5........2......3.......0........
Henry Armstrong............5........2......2.......1........
Barney Ross..................5........2......1.......2.........
Floyd Mayweather Jr.......5........2......1.......2.........
Benny Leonard..............5........1.......3......1.........
Pernell Whitaker............5........0......2.......3.........

Barney Ross claims a respectable Bronze Medal (by virtue of his SD head-to-head victory over Floyd) and walks out of the tournament proudly with a neutral record.

Homicide Hank takes the Silver Medal having drawn with the tournament winner and coming out of it with a positive winning record.

And our Super Six Champion this season is Roberto Duran who (unbelievably) fought all of this best competitors and carries an unbeaten record - as well as regaining the Lonsdale Belt and winning the Undisputed World Title back.

WHAT A YEAR!
WHAT A FINISH!

My first time ever winning the Super Six. Great season for Duran, and others like Armstrong, etc.

Glad Ross showed well. A few people questioned him being in the last spot and he brings home the Bronze.
