Ugghhh I don't know why but the hypocrisy of this guy never ceases to amaze me.

Not an easy fight by any stretch, considering his lay off and Kovacs is no mug.
Good luck to him. I understand why he wants the Choc rematch so much, but sometimes things are just better left alone.

Kovacs is a mug if the Shumenov fight(the only fight I've seen of his)is anything to go by. The rest of his opponents have been Slovakian goat herders.

so why do u keep posting about him?
u despise him yet can't stop talking about him, lol.
good opponent for his first fight in 3 years.
hopefully green will fight at light heavy when he faces the higher ranked fighters.

hopefully if he is carrying on it is going to be at light heavy! good on him for beating cameron and getting another title but i would have rather seen him go down to light heavy back then. i think he would have beat shumenov for the WBA strap and could have likely had a unification with hopkins, stevenson or kovalev. i think the hopkins fight would have gone similarly to to hopkins v kovalev fight. green could have won that. well maybe. that would have been a much better end to his career than the ibo cruiserweight title. good on him for giving it a crack anyway, he is old but he is very fit and can probably still hang with the top ten at light heavy. dunno about cruiserweight though. he is too small to fight with the power/pressure style at cruiser that he has adopted over the years

Big difference from playing football at that weight to fighting at that weight. And that was 15years ago. His body type has changed dramatically since then.

Good opponent for Danny to look good, he is easy to pressure and overwhelm with power

Well I must say sorry I thought they were putting on boxing glove's for a fight not putting on footy boot's
so is it [the game of footy] Aussie Rule's or Rugby League :?? because if it's Aussie Rule's Green will need to strip some weight

cause I'm not using negative Nellie goggles, that's why.
u hate danny, we know. u hate all ozzies. u have made it very clear. which makes me wonder why u bother coming on here. there r heaps of great oz boxers, young and old, u just prefer to bag every single one of them.
I on the other hand can see the good in oz bouts.

The only way this mirage of a fight will happen is for Green to sweat off more than a few kilos, whilst Mundine has to pork up.

I know mate I was being sarcastic. Taking the urine out of the Green lovers who believe he was weightdrained in 2006.

this comeback is for the casual fan who are easily impressed, I might go and see it at the local pub, if there is no footy on TV. No chance of me buying it.

A fairly accurate summation of Danny's next ''dangerous'' opponent.
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1886 ... o-and-more
Although he didn't last anywhere near 8 only went to the 3rd. Since then he's fought 3 opponents with a combined record of 69 wins 59 losses and 7 draws between cruiser and light heavyweight ranked by boxrec at 500,256 and 365 respectively. Green KO 3 or whenever he likes.
