Doesn't Khan's trainer train Berto and Mayfield? Sounds like a wind-up

He's got to be taking the mickey.
When was the last time Mayweather fought such a weak opponent?

He's havin a laugh.
In that same interview he went on to say if Porter or Thurman agree to fight Spence on his undercard in September, he will relinquish one of his belts for them to fight for. What a total piss take that is, now champions can give away their belts and decide who gets to fight for the vacant title..... Is this sh*t for real, can he really play the sport like that? Boxing will become an even bigger joke if he is allowed to pull that sort of crap.

Mayweather shouldn't be be able to pull that type of stuff but with Haymon behind him he does have that kind of influence.
While we're at it, i'd really like to see either of those fights. Spence looks the goods.

If he's not attempting to break the Holy Grail of 49 (the Marciano faithful can rest easy) he needs to do something epic in his last fight, it's got to be GGG at full 160lbs.
Anything else would be an anti climax to a great career.

He has a track record of releasing the name of a terrible opponent before announcing the real one.
Off the top of my head, it's been Spadafora and Matthew Hatton in the past. I'm sure there are others

That's a heavyweight record anyway though isn't it?
