Not seen it mentioned on here but good news Dennis Hobson's show headlined by Mansouri v Sheedy for the English light middleweight title will be shown live on Spike TV, July 4th 10pm.

Show also features Lewis Taylor v Grant Cunningham for the English Middleweight title hope they show that too. Thats two proper well matched championship fights :salut:

Well done Dennis and well done Spike more boxing on freeview tv :TU:

Remember seeing him at Walsall Town Hall a while back (Gavin/Welborn show) and being quite impressed but not seen him fight since, doesn't seem to have been that busy.

Hi fellas, a quick heads-up to remind everyone that Nav Mansouri vs Sam Sheedy (English light-middleweight belt) and Lewis Taylor vs Grant Cunningham (vacant English middleweight title) will be shown live and free next Saturday (July 4) on Spike TV (Channels: Sky 160, Freeview 31, Talk Talk 31, Freesat 141, BT TV 31).

Both fights are very even matches and we're sure they'll both be great entertainment. If anyone fancies winning a couple of ringside tickets to the show - just check out our competition here: http://www.dennishobson.com/

Cheers, and good luck!

Correct. Nav was plagued with injuries preventing him from fighting him.

Sure Glen will be fine he can play the pro Matchroom card on Sky cards but they all seem to. I'd imagine on other channels even Hawling wouldn't be bad!!

Wasn't there a thread on here about a year ago saying the McCrory got the bullet from sky?

He didn't get the bullit. His contract was up and renegotiations took longer than expected. Can only assume his new contract with Sky allows him to do other things.

Ross Burkinshaw was on Twitter saying he's on the coach today for Spoke TV.

Sounds ominous. They aren't Fish And Chipping it up again, hopefully.

Will be watching this, people complain that there isn't much boxing on free to air television any more so the least one can do is tune in when there is some. A couple of English title fights should be bread and butter for Spike TV, I would like to see them regularly covering small hall / minor title shows to give some prospects a bit of exposure then they could appear on Five once they rise up the rankings...

Aren't you intrigued to see if Burkinshaw can hold both a conversation and a banana at the same time :OhYes:
