Jerome Wilson book

Hi all,
Just raising a bit of awareness about a book I've written with Jerome Wilson, due out September 12th this year, on the anniversary of the fight that so nearly killed him.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wiped-Out-Jerom ... bc?ie=UTF8
I've been very privileged to be able to work with Jerome and tell his story. I don't want to give too much away at this stage but its a very unusual book. It is about boxing (obviously) but to a large degree hinges around the injury, his experience of a 10 day coma and the effect that had on his brain. When he first told me about it, it blew me away. Hopefully readers will find it just as interesting.
Jerome is doing better physically now, but still struggles psychologically with his ordeal. At present he still has a quarter of his skull missing and awaits another operation. What he has been through raises some pretty big questions, not just about boxing but the human condition.
all proceeds from the book are going to Jerome as he continues his recovery.
cheers.

PS - do you make more profit if I buy direct from you rather than via Amazon? (Just recalling my own experience of Amazon when I wrote Kirkland Laing's biography - I didn't sell through Amazon or any other internet bookseller as it would not have been economic for me to do so, and in this case I would like as much of my money to end up in your hands as possible). If a direct sale is possible (and if you can do a signed copy, which I would like), would you be able to post details here, in case anyone else is interested? If not, no worries!

I refuse to buy from Amazon so I would also be interested in an alternative way of buying this book.

Thank you. We shall see what happens. Just happy that my story will be out there. It's a very crazy story to tell.

Good question.
All that is out of my hands. The publishers deal with all of that.
They themselves have put it up on Amazon and there own website.
So I'm unsure of the fees Amazon may charge the publishers, so I would imagine they would be some kind of deduction from the sales from the Amazon site.
I will give you the publishers details and you could ask them direct.

I hopefully should be having a book launch all being well in Sheffield.
Still uncomfirmed, but when it is, I can let you know on here, and pass on the necessary info.
I'm sure I could sort this out at that.

Great, thanks Jerome! I'll keep my eyes peeled. All the best with your recovery - it's been great to hear how well you've fought back from your injuries.
