While replying to a comment on here, I took time to read many comments on this forum that were very surreal to read back. To think when these were written I was in the early stages of my coma, then as I came out of it, it was so great to see that many of you was continuing to following my progress, and wishing me well all the way, and informing others of what I was writing on social media when I was able to.

Thank you all very much for that. It's took me a bit of time but I'm able to say that now.

Big thanks to Curtis woodhouse for raising the awareness of my accident on here and all who were concerned.

Means a lot.

Massive respect to you all.

I'm still recovering well and making steady progress as I'm awaiting my next operation to have a metal plate bolted into my head.

Glad to hear your recovery is improving Jerome and great to see the level of support that came out for you. I know your old man Denton, have competed at shows with him in bodybuilding and felt awful talking to him at the UKDFBA in Leamingon last year as it was just after your incident and I was unaware that you were his son and so did not say anything.

He is a top guy, his rope pulling body popping is one of my favourite routines and I have it on youtube somewhere in a show I recorded. Clearly his good nature has rubbed off well on you.

Thank you for that, the journey is a tough one, still getting through it as best as I can. But the support I had/have is great.

All I can say is thank you to everybody for that. And don't feel sorry for not saying anything to my dad, I'm sure he wouldn't be to bothered by that.

He is good at what he does for sure, but i 'd say to be honest with you. I am how I am because of my mother who brought me up.

Mate, all the very very best with your recovery. I can only imagine what you've been through. Had a brain injury (nothing compared to yours) two years ago and it's a funny old process. It can be very daunting but you'll get there mate. I'm sure I'm speaking for the whole forum when I say we are here if you ever need owt. Either via a thread or PM.

Right now I'm just in the process of trying to create more awareness of my book, in the aim it will have a massive impact on boxing for the better, and educate boxers on various issues that surround the boxing business, that may effect the decisions they make in the future.

yeh i remember cornering you in mexborough !! Yes pal be there with sheedy for english title also another good lad from when you was amateur lewis taylor is on for english too...see you there jerome
