I gave the slight edge to Duran, but can't complain about the draw. Duran didn't do much the last two rounds, letting Whitaker get back into the fight. Good fight.

Yeah, it was a good fight. And Pernell remains champ....just barely. The idea that Pernell pulls a possibly unjust draw does have some justice assigned to it.
I judged it either a duran win. or a genuine draw. But you have to take it from the champ, and like you say, Duran let him back into the fight toward the end.
