The three-time Middleweight World title challenger replaces Heavyweight Anthony Joshua who was originally set to appear on the bill but will now focus on a major title bout on September 12 at The O2 in London.
Any ideas who he is fighting ?

Hopefully it will be somebody better than Manuel Charr, whom Anthony would annihilate early. Names of Dillian Whyte, Mariusz Wach and Tony Thompson were mentioned by Eddie Hearn alongside with Charr, and I think that bout with one of these guys (except Charr) will be a step in the right direction for Anthony.

What title would it be then ? Some fake "international"/"silver"/"diamond" one ? Is it possible he fights Chagaev for the regular WBA title ?

I don't think he will fight Chagaev. Lucas Browne for the Commonwealth title seems more likely. But it can be British title or WBC International. I think they meant rather good opponent than major title in that phrase.

The Board announce that Tyson Fury had vacated the Lonsdale belt for his crack at Wladimir Klitschko and were reviewing it he division. I wouldn't complain if Big Josh went in with Lucas Browne.

Browne for the Commonwealth or a vacant British title fight against Whyte would do just fine

Maybe it's for the vacant WBA Interim belt that Luis Ortiz lost cause of juicing.

against wach would be a nice fight at this Point if wach is still motivated. wach is not a good boxer but strong and with a good chin. he should give Aj some rounds and hit him back a couple times. and if AJ blows him out that would be a big Statement (if wach Comes in shape and motivated).

Apparently they're trying to make a September fight, possibly with Wach, but nothing is agreed upon yet. They're additionally trying to make a November fight, possibly with Dillian Whyte, but also nothing agreed yet.

Let's see what happens, but I wouldn't be too surprised too surprised if this was another WBC International Heavyweight title fight. Though, I'd see to see him fighting for the British title next. He needs to start making in-roads toward more creditable titles... There's not much more than he can learn beating up lower ranked fighters...

I quoted that particular site because Joshua's promoter is heavily in bed with them.
This--for the benefit of the uninitiated--is Gary Cornish.

Gary's been posting this stuff on facebook a lot the past few days. I like Gary, seems a real stand up guy.
I think in a perfect situation he could maybe even pick up a title someday.
But I don't think he could ever beat Joshua. It's just a bad matchup.

Cornish does indeed seem like a nice fella, but I've got more chance of squeezing toothpaste back into the tube with my bare hands than he does of lasting the distance with Joshua, & that's what Joshua needs imo--a low-threat distance win.
I know I'm being naive 'cos the staggering sums of money involved but I'm going back to ignoring the heavies soon, it's not a sporting spectacle any more it's a fuckin' exercise in risk minimisation with sporting trappings. Everyone in the cunting division was afraid to fight a Klit or each other for the best part of a decade & they all basically just mimbled along eating & roiding & getting the odd bit of target practice.
Now Wlad's old & Vitali's gone, & they still won't build anything like a meaningful run. At least at lower weights there's some actual sporting content to watch rather than endless prevarication interspersed with televised executions.
