ik yang is 18-0 show man two handed hitter, seems to be very confident in there very awkward.
cuenca 47-0 close to hitting the magical 50. real out boxer, hard to pin down, no pop very good at scoring pts.
not sure who will win i don't think yang can close of f the ring and don't see cuenca getting any favours in macau with the judges.

Yang easy Cuenca cant punch and Yang has homefield advantage.

cuenca completely outboxed yang.
cuenca actually is very very very difficult to track down the archetypal outboxer.
is 48-0 now and i suspect crawford may be given an opportunity at the if crown cuenca just won and he can possible get to 49-0

So, it was his first fight outside of Argentina, and he got a shot at the title ??? Of course, Yang also did not deserve it.

Guys like Crawford, Matthysse, Provo, Herrera don't have titles but this guy does ???

This is the first meaningful victory of the guy's entire career.

Mentioning a career-long bottom-feeder like Cuenca in the same breath as Mayweather or Marciano is a farce.
Rather than farce you could have also said joke, since that's clearly what it was

I dont come here as much as I used to, so I'm not familiar enough with most current commenters to be able to tell when they are joking or serious. :TU:
But...but...I'm an old school boxrec'er!

But seriously yeah, it's hard to tell who's joking around here sometimes anymore.

IK YANG was far from the first meaningful victory. Cuenca has boxed (an obviously won as he is undefeated) 6 top 50 opponents in the IWBR prior to the IBF world title fight v Yang. Yang was not even top 100 rated.

I was clearly wrong. :KO: I thought it was set up for Yang and he blew it

Cuenca looked very good.
Great feet movement.
Be interesting to see him defending against better opposition.
Doesn't have KO power but hits hard enough to command respect. Especially his straight left.

no doubt about it cuenca is a good outboxes and it will simply take a smarter approach than what yang tried to beat him as he is a pretty smart boxer.
when he fights the other contenders it will be interesting as he is on that level and his style will frustrate a lot of guys someone like provodnikov, rios, alvorado the movement cuenca possesses is really hard to deal with. now smarter fighters like crawford , maths etc should handle him.
id like to see hi fight figueroa next and i believe he beats omar on pts.
he is the southpaw version of moguls vasquez and vasquez is pretty successful boxer against good fighters.
