Have they updated their ratings since his fight?

He didn't fight at 168, and hasn't fought at that weight for nearly two years.

He fought at light heavyweight, but his opponent wasn't really good enough for him to be included in the 175 rankings.

His opponent was good enough for u Euros when AA fought against him. Haters can play games and leave him out. Wont change the fact that he'll dominate his opponents just like old times.

Froch,Kessler and AA combined won about 4 rds.

Im not hating on Euros.....i do remember all the talk about AA and Paul Smith back when they fought. Goin back n forth over who won. I didnt watch either fight so i dont know who should have won. I do remember everyone being cool with AA defending his title against Smith not once but twice. I point out Euros bc i know Americans dont care about AA.

Right, where should he be ranked after not fighting at 168 for two years and fighting at 175 against a fighter never ranked there?

I think common sense applies. Hes either 1 or 2 at 175 and 1 at 168. Pick one...... I bet Mikey Garcia dont have to go thru this shit when he comes back.

No way he is #1 or even #2 at 175 until he actually beats some top 10 light heavies.

Smith was widely considered a soft choice for AA and I think it's generally recognized that AA's been fighting a lot of weak opponents for a while now---I don't think there was as much of an uproar because people simply don't take him as seriously and therefore don't care as much about his opposition. I mean, why the hell should people hold AA and a P4P elite fighter like Ward to the same standards?

Ward is definitely given a hard time by some people, but you cry Euro too much.

I dont think its crazy to rank Andre Ward at either 175 or 168 when we know hes p4p top 5. To leave him out of the top 10 is retarded now that he has fought.

Ward being really good at 168 doesn't automatically mean success at 175. At the lower weight, beside having advantage in hand speed, footwork, head movement, etc. over fighters like Froch, Kessler, Abraham, he also dominated them in clinching/wrestling competitions tiring them and not allowing to land anything significant. He will certainly not be able to do that against Beterbiev or other strong LHWs, so he still needs to prove that he belongs to LHW elite.
