Never been away to a fight before, was just wondering how easy it would be to get tickets for a fight like this?

They're talking a 55,000 seater stadium aren't they? Shouldn't imagine it will be too difficult as long as you keep an eye out etc.

Should be ok - and more importantly will be decent prices.
Problem will be price of getting there and hotels.

there's loads of hotels, and they are cheap too, I just looked on booking.com
Best book hotel now - don't have to put any money down.

Not sure that is an official ticket seller linked to above? Don't think the tickets are on sale officially yet, although obviously a broker may have an allocation in advance of the public sale.
I'd wait and see. Tickets for Wlad-Chambers and Wlad-Mormeck at the same venue were cheap (starting at 20 euros) but Wlad-Haye was much more expensive, starting at 50 euros for a really bad seat, all the way up to 1500.

Can't imagine it being too difficult to get tickets. I'm sure people said that there were plenty of empty seats for haye v wlad which was a bigger fight

Considered going over to watch Haye's fight in Hamburg - what put me off was the airline costs shot right up on the usual budget providers. I would get flights booked asap. Had quick look on Easyjet and quite reasonable at the moment. Have a good time.

Yeah I'll wait till the official sale or just get them off Tyson. Should be a good night aslong as Tyson shows up.

We have booked flights to Eindhoven £40 with €19 for transfers. Hotels are cheap in Dusseldorf.
Well worth going. Was a great atmospher last time i went to a fight in Germany.

Me and a few mates who've never been away to a fight have booked bits and pieces as well.
Flights from Stansted to Cologne and hotel £120 for two nights for three of us.
Can't wait!

Are people seriously booking flights when tickets are not on sale yet - seems a massive risk to me given that the venue / date could potentially change.
This seems to happen a lot so seems like a huge risk to take to save a few bob and get the cheapest flights? Dusseldorf is a huge transport hub and has so many flights/hotels that it seems a bit nuts to be doing this?
Or am I just being a pessimist?

If its moved or cancelled I either lose 37 quid or pretend to my wife its still on and go on a piss up

Tickets were simple for Klitschko v Haye so i'll assume it will be just as easy.
Booked hotel yesterday, just waiting for train prices to be uploaded at the end of the month.

Don't want hotel prices and plane tickets to go stupid amount I'm happy paying no more than £200 for both

Dusseldorf is in a quality location for flights much better than Hamburg in my opinion as loads of options of places to fly to, Cologne and Dortmund being obvious examples.
If I was thinking of going I'd book the flights straight off regardless of tickets, the old town in Dusseldorf is quality anyway which is what we did when we flew out for the cancelled Haye v Klitchko fight in Gelsenkirchen.

I merely reserved a hotel, can cancel any time up to 48 hours before, and no downpayment.

i need to know the pricing, im after 2 ringside tickets which i may just fork out £1500 for on tickets75.de, but has anyone any idea how much they would be on eventim
i spoke/emailed to klitschko management group who said the official box office will be eventim. viagogo, ticketmaster will be selling earlier but those are obviously inflated prices.
going with missus, so booked nice intercontinental hotel
we flying to dusseldorf from manchester but returning from cologne which is much cheaper.
cologne is only like 30miles away from dusselldorf

Why fork out that kind of dosh when you can get them cheaper on Tuesday? I read on a different link they start at 75 euros and ringside up to 500euro but that wasn't official.
Hang in there for the Tuesday sale.
