Seen talk of Fwank putting on a show in Brighton in September, presumably he'll headline that show.

I would like to think that his time off has been spent working on a jab.
I think with his current skillset he will struggle against good European level fighters, however if he can incorporate a jab then maybe he can go that bit further.
Be interesting to see if he plans on keeping his father around, as from the outside looking in, it looks as if it is a bit of a shambles organizationally.

Yeah I agree with you with the organization they gave away the first 5 rounds against Saunders. I think eubanks feet are too slow to be honest aswell but still room to learn. Give him new coach with new ideas and he could improve even more.

I think it's a natural break. He'd been packing them in and he performed well in that last fight. He also laid down a heck of a lot of shots in that fight and the guy wouldn't budge. Shout out for our Russian friend there btw
Provided he's in shape and still learning things, which I'm sure he is on both counts, he'll be fine. Last thing he wants to do is end up thinking that he's some kind of a wrecking-ball, but he's too smart for that, and his Dad will tell him the crack. I think his Dad his a briliant font of knowledge to have around.

He is bound to be getting conflicting advice from his dad and coach- that confuses a fighter- you need to just follow one path of advice. His dad is too opinionated and self important. I loved his dad as a boxer but if he wants the best for his son he should either shut up or take over the reigns.

Should definitely shut up and let Ronnie take over.

He is great to watch and the BJS fight was a close one, like someone said before the early rounds were a bit of a give away.
He seems to me to have a real mean streak and that isn't a bad thing!
Looking forward to his return!

Don't think he needs to fight ,, he's already the uncrowned champ of the worl ,, ask his dad he'll tell ya .
And is there any promoter willing to work with this superstar who just gets continually better .

Me too, maybe Eubank senior could stay in the background and just concentrate on the management/negotiations side of stuff and let Ronnie get on with the rest, unlikely though, too big an ego.

No he won't.
Not unless the ransom is paid.
He's in my basement, and I'll cut the other arm off if it isn't paid soon.

Snr is a right effing liability in many ways but Jnr has a lot of publicity that he would not get without the whole circus act and they are getting well paid accordingly. People talk about him more than his accomplishments have deserved so for that, whether we approve or not, it is a good business model. Whether it is a good sporting model is not looking likely though.
One thing we should acknowledge is that the boy can fight. Whether he is what his dad says he is or not does not detract that he can fight. Most or at least many people feel the tactics cost them the BJS fight. So it can be said that in his first fight at a decent level, against a class operator (and maybe about to be World Champion) he lost not because he was not as good but because they cocked up the plan.
At worse we can say that he pushed a world class fighter to the wire in a fight that judged as a whole 12 round fight was competitive and tight by the end

Latest interview with IFL Warren said that he doesnt know whats going on with the Eubank's and although didnt rule it out, he didnt seem too optimistic that 'young Christopher' would appear on any of his bills in the near future.

go on then, give us a couple. How do you know his Dad's a liability, are you in their camp? It looks to me like between the lot of 'em they've taken a very ordinary candidate and and now he's beaten around 20 opponents. Including a couple of decent ones more lately - and also lost a British title tilt on points. His Dad doesn't sound like
that much of a liability to me, personally.

I saw that to, i got the impression that frank thinks eubanks are a nightmare to work with and he is probably still upset that the rematch didn't get made. surely he should feature on one of the september on allegedly

1) He's well know to be a ridiculously difficult person to negotiate with, which will dissuade promoters from putting Jr on their bills
2) He insisted on getting in the ring & staring at Jr between rounds rather than letting Ronnie Davies get on with the real corner work during a very difficult fight which Jr went on to lose
3) He set absurd expectations about Jr being better than Golovkin

I agree about the Ronnie Davies bit and he should have a bit more faith in Davies, who didn't do a bad job by him. The thing is I watched it and as much as their relationship can look strained I never saw Snr doling out bad advice and I think Chris Eubank Jr knows that his Dad brings a HELL of a lot of experience to the table. I wouldn't mind someone like that coaching me in a fight.
Incidentally, I hope he's got a seconds licence, I mean I hope he doesn't just pull up in his truck and jump in the ring
