Though it's not a defeat inside the ring like most of us hoped for, Floyd sure took an epic beating outside of it last night. After winning the Best Fighter of the Year award over Floyd last night at the ESPY's, Rhonda Rousey had this to say on live TV after receiving the award:

"I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once," Rousey said. "I'd like to see you pretend to not know who I am now."

A soundbite that will most likely follow Floyd and his legacy wherever he goes. In Floyd's mind, i'm sure he thinks that we all care more about who he's going to fight next and anticipate his announcement beyond all else. But in reality, we want to see what "TBE" has to say in response to Rousey's brash tongue lashing on one of sport's biggest nights on national TV.

Not exactly what Floyd planned for in his swan song to boxing but it happened. Normally, Floyd has everything buttoned down and paid for in his world. He's had media personnel removed at his behest and been in total control of information, people and matters. Not last night. The world saw it and they can't un-see it, Floyd. Rousey landed a punch that even Floyd can't counter.

The United States of America is a country of free speech, so Rousey has a right to say what she wants about Floyd, and vice-versa. After reading what her reasoning was for the plotted attack on Floyd (her words) that she waited a whole year to execute, in my opinion, she is a stupid loud mouthed biatch. She is mad because Floyd said he didn't know who she was.....and thinks he does know who she is.

She is good friends now with Tyson, who she greatly admires due to him paying his debt to society, etc. The convicted rapist, that is about the furthest from a role model than any boxer in history, who bit part of a guys ear off in a fight.....she admires? Floyd has paid his debt to society too. I'm not going to go on about what a great guy he is, because frankly he isn't, imo.

The whole thing is a sham, man. From the awards given to the pats on the back of the self aggrandizing crew of egoists that run it.

And Rousey LOVES to talk about things she knows she will never need to answer for. Maybe know that she has Floyd's ear he can teach her how to gain five pounds and stop ducking Cyborg.

Who cares Rousey is more dominating and exciting than Mayweather. Plus for being such a brute in the ring when Rousey dresses up there's something sexy about her. I'd watch her anyday over that flea bitten Mayweather.

Floyd could knock out Andrew Hartley in seconds too. Rousey is the most dominant champ for a couple reasons, number one being that she is such a talented judoka. We can't overlook the obvious fact that the competition isn't there yet either, because the sport is so young and the women involved (for the most part) haven't been receiving top level training.

How did he pay it? He went to jail just like Tyson did, and for slapping a woman, not raping one. The "society" was stupid enough to pay $100 a pop for it. The "society" believed all the hype behind Pacquiao, that he was good enough to make it a competitive fight, or would show us why Floyd had "ducked" him for several years. Its only the results that matter, and Pacquiao wasn't good enough, or Floyd was just too good to allow him to be.

Judging by all the athletes in the audience. It's far from fake or political. It's judged on a national scale. It's a big thing.

I don't think the ESPYs are that big of a deal. They may be news for a week or so but are quickly forgotten.

It's a fan poll for a cable network. It's about as cool as any other non-cash award out there.
