Great to see prime time ITV sat night, and a terrific fight to kick it off, long may it continue. Studio bod was ok, Haye and Duke were decent too. duke even called it right when he said his usual "this kid is dangerous" pre fight.

But for f***s sake, don't give away the result on other channel, as OBVIOUSLY, your target audience is taping the other bloody fight.

And after a shocking first round where the big star gets dropped twice, DONT go to adverts you numpties.

Aye, I thought it was an utter farce that after a double knock down in the first they just went to adverts as normal. They'd clearly promised they slots to the highest bidder and were giving them away regardless. Joke.

Yep, agreed, they completely ruined the Quigg fight for me. Well done ITV you kn*bheads. Get a brain FFS.

Sky were almost as bad as Froch and Moore both quoted that Frampton had been dropped twice in the first.

i havent got sky and i wanted to know the quigg result so i really appreciated them telling me the result.

Richie Woodhall certainly seems to be Mr. Fixit for any British media outfit other than Sky wanting to cover a fight - he's done BBC Radio, Channel 5 and ITV - but I think he is a good choice and calls a fight well by not making his mind-up too early and he explains what is going on out there in a neat, concise way.

Thought Richie had a good night and Dave Farrar seems competent as well.

Hopefully, ITV gets a taste for some more big fight nights.

I also would like to have seen the result of the Arreola fight shown, rather than it being quickly mentioned in the studio a few minutes after the show started...

That being said, it's great to see boxing on terrestrial tv again...

That was obviously going to happen, in my opinion. The fact that it clashed with Sky Sports meant they were in competition. I assumed beforehand this would be something they'd do. It's unfair, I admit. But the point is, they were trying to ruin the Quigg fight. Maybe next time Sky Plus the ITV bill, and watch Sky Sports live?

What slightly annoyed me more was that they cut away from the Arreola fight without showing the score announced live. But time constraints, I guess.

I rate them higher than Fish, Chips And Scraps. At least they were sat around actually discussing the boxing, and not just titting about.

Though, a Spike TV random blonde bird in the studio wouldn't have hurt.

That would be a great idea ! except for the slight problem that the Sky dorks did virtually the same thing with the Frampton fight.

Glad there's some decent fights now being shown for free, Couldn't really fault it apart from them giving Haye a slot to turn just a general question in to a story about himself. In regards to the adverts is that not down to the yanks also going to adverts? We get the same coverage as the yanks

The result wasn't on ITV 4 - they switched over BEFORE the results announced.... and then all we hear is Pugatch saying it was a draw - not the cards etc.

yes i know it wasnt. i switched from itv 4 when they said and then they read out the result on itv. simple enough.

Never been a fan of the Brum accent, but Richie Woodhall is top notch so his knowledge over powers it - big fan!

Agreed - Woodhall calls a fight well; nice balance between backing the Brit but he shows some respect for a good opponent and does not duck the fact that the other guy might be doing well. Good on BBC 5 Live as well and doing a fight on the radio must be tougher than TV.

West Midlands politics/identity means that RW probably views himself as a Black Country lad rather than a Brummie
